QB play alone puts them well behind the Bengals and Ravens. Not even sure as team they would be better than the Browns. Then you got the rest of the top teams in the AFC they have to deal with. So at best the Steelers squeek into the playoffs as the #7 seed and are probally bounced in the 1st RD by one of the AFC powerhouses.

Never? And they can't get better at QB?

You got the winning power ball #?

Since 2011, the Steelers have played in one conference championship. One. And they got their doors blown off in it.

I used to defend Tomlin during the mid-to-late 2010's, but people (and even some fans on this site who love to dunk on Kyle for some reason) need to stop acting like Tomlin is some amazing commodity just because he won a Super Bowl 16 years ago. Finishing 8-8 and 9-8 every year only gets you so far.

fyi - idk who this guy is and no idea if this is credible. It just made me laugh

Whatever just trade this fool already. Save the cap space and take what you can get.

This is emotions speaking, from a business pov it makes no sense to do this.

Nah just tired of this guy already and I much rather see them spend money on Trent Williams. Trent is not so replaceable, Aiyuk is.

Better than Burrow or Lamar Jackson? Probably not.

I "feel good" about this new prescription hemorrhoid cream my doctor prescribed me but I'm not holding my breath due to the other 8 bottles that haven't worked yet

Yea and that team was mostly Bill Cowhers draft classes and he was gifted prime Big Ben

Agree.
I've claimed before: Aiyuk has not demonstrated that he among the top 10 receivers in the NFL. Yet he wants top dollar. At some point the Niners have to stop being nice guys. Show players that they're not just going to roll over every time a player cries "whaaa".
Can't blame Aiyuk for testing the team when there are no repercussions.
Niners need to show some b*lls and stop this nonsense.
It HAS to be a distraction.

Tomlin problem is he can't field a championship worthy offense and that's the way of the league today. In the playoffs you better put more points on the board than the other team and games are likely to be down to the wire and when you have a new OC every couple of years it's tough to go deep in the playoffs

BA has been given multiple outs here to go get his money and he refused so if he wants to be here he has to take the deal we have or play on the fifth year. What's taking so long?

They have more cap space than any team in football. Neither guy is replaceable at this moment. Taking pennies on the dollar because of emotions is not how you run a business.

Just another random handle that's trying to get engagements.

also it's been reported that we've basically matched Pitts contract offer. I don't even know why Pitt is even being talked about at this point. Also if folks think the Lamb contract changes the price, that goes for everyone involved…not just SF.

If Lynch and company trade him to Pitt for what they were willing to give the niners in return I will be one pissed off 49er fan. That would be a stupid trade. I would let him set on the bench for two years before I did a dumb deal that is not beneficial or of equal value.

I really do think that Aiyuk was waiting for lamb to sign. Same way he told the niners early in the off season that he wanted to wait for everyone else to sign before signing a deal.

hes trying to get as much money as possible, and most likely thinks he will get more now cause the lamb deal, but I don't see the niners budging and they really shouldn't.

He could've had his money in NE. You gotta go get NE money in NE. Over here in SF we paying SF money. Now what you wanna do?

It's pretty clear that he wants to get paid and win. How actions have made that clear.

it isn't like Boston doesn't have big time taxes - especially millionaire taxes. Belichick calls it taxssachusetts.

Idk why people think he just wants to get paid and doesn't care about winning or having a stable qb.

there's only a situation or two in the league that would be as good as the niners if you can get paid and still compete for a chip.

Yup, agreed. He wants to get paid market value like every other damn WR is currently getting. Folks in here are like this is what we're offering, don't like it shut up. Meanwhile if a player gets hurt or doesn't play to their contract, we all want them cut lol.

That's the way it works, as agreed upon by the owners and players.
