He is not worth this, NO Wr is.
Get this distraction out of the way and strengthen the lines.

Amen my brother...

Really wish he wanted to go to Cleveland. Would love Cooper on this team.

It's not that I think he's worth as much or more than lamb, I think Aiyuk believes that. I think he wants $32M now. Or near same guarantees.

this has nothing to do with what I personally believe he is worth - I just think that is what he wants. I think he'll argue that he just got all pro, great blocker, and extremely efficient (like 70 less targets than lamb gets).

I think that's why he thinks he's worth near them. Cause he believes with their same ops, he would do as well.

Lamb is not better than BA. I would argue they are more or less equivalent talents. Chase I think is better than both.

Still, there's no way Aiyuk will sniff Ceedee's contract from the 49ers or anyone else.

Aiyuk needs to be signed this week or it's over for him in 2024 with the 49ers (unless he is willing to play on the 5th year).

That would have been the best for us...

If you think they are equivalent then why do you think Aiyuk would not be able to get a similar contract? I'm confused.

Tyreek Hill did it right. He got the chip then left to be paid like a champion should be paid. Here we have guys wanting to be paid like Super Bowl winners when they were on a stacked roster and didn't seal the deal

Crazy

So I say if you want money go get it

If BA doesn't play ball he's gonna lose money overall permanently that can't be recouped

Yeah we should trade BA for a right tackle we are not going to sign him after this contract to Lamb. We should have signed him way earlier.

HE should have signed way earlier. The front office caved plenty.

The FO could have signed him for 28 mil now it's at least 30 mil.

We don't really know that though. Supposedly he was offered 30-32M from New England and didn't take it.

We don't know that for sure it was written in several articles but we don't know as fact. So I'm saying back in March when the article specifically says that. I can't find the article sorry about that.

How is this so confusing? I don't think it's a difficult concept.

On paper Ceedee has put up huge numbers while BAs numbers are speculative. Most realistic observers (like myself) would agree that BA would put up bigger numbers than he does in a different offense...but it is still speculative. Their talent levels are roughly equivalent.

It looks like it's starting down that path as much as I wish it wasn't. I looked at an article I can't find anymore back in March for the 28 Mil.

I agree he's not Lamb but he thinks he's that good.

Yup. He will hurt himself in the short and long term.

One thing though. BA is playing on an offense loaded with six other pro bowlers or All Pros and he's the seventh. If he gets a Super Bowl winners salary how many of those guys will we have to cut? Then what does his production look like and how does this help us win? We will have brought back the same offensive players at a much higher cost while mortgaging the future just so a couple guys can be paid like winners on a team loaded with talent that actually hasn't won

I agree BA is good but I just don't get asking for top of market money here in our situation then not going where the money is when presented the opportunity?

how often was he schemed open?
How often would this happen in any other random offense in the NFL?
this goes both ways.

IMO BA is not worth more than 30M per year.

When you play with six other pro bowlers on offense you don't see the double teams others see that don't play with six pro bowlers. Nonetheless BA is very good and All Pro and should be paid accordingly but just give us a small discount
