SF knows we have all the leverage. If he wanted to leave for money he should have went to NE. They were willing to pay him more than anyone else.

If I'm SF now, I close negotiations and say play your 5th year option... or don't. You playing games now by not practicing and waiting longer only sets you back. If you wanna hold out, np. Go ahead. You'll get fined and eventually forfeit your season. Try the Leveon Bell trick...

Yeah out of the 100K posts I have, I'm sure you will find some emotional posts lol.

coming into this thread and consistently listening to the butt hurt fans being emotional over a player being emotional is hypocritical and stupid…That's a fact. We're allowed to be emotional and dumb about it, but he's not? Come on man.

Relax man

I'm not saying you shouldn't care…Im saying look how hypocritical some of ya'll are being over it. We're allowed to be emotional and dumb about it because we're fans BUT BA isn't allowed to do the same over his money/future? Come on now.

Also not a peep about Trent who's actually holding out and has years left on his deal (after being PAID).

And yes it's the players cash…sounds like it's been a $2M divide over all of this nonsense. So what do you think is more important, paying a young all-pro WR who gonna be Brock's dude for years OR signing someone like Chris Conley for that $1.5-$2M a yr?

get the s**t done and go win a damn SB. Period.

Dude just wants to be paid market value. Sounds like SF didn't offer that (back in May) and didn't do s**t until recently. I'd be upset if I was him as well.

This isn't just business to business stuff. He's a player who you want, clearly. There's a relationship there. Playing hardball, which SF has done with him and damn near every player we sign has its drawbacks…now you're seeing it.

This team needs him and this is an all in year. Meet in the middle and move on. SF doesn't have to win every single contract.

Like you said he can sit out and can do that for like half the year and still accrue a season. SF does have leverage, but leaning into that over what sounds like a couple million isn't always the best way to do business imo.

we will see. Hammer that s**t out, give out some bro hugs and let's win this s**t.
Dudes really gambling that we can't be successful without him. His value is relative… he means more to some rosters (NE) than he does to others. If either of our rookies hit it'll be maximum drama.

"market value" is only a thing if the entire market agrees to it. RBs contracts were going higher and higher until the FOs decided they weren't.

BA, for his own good, needs to sign relatively quickly. Beginning the approach some thin ice

In no way this whole thing is over a couple of million and in no way we should gamble (all in) our future for anyone.

I mean they don't have a legit split end WR on the roster. As far as scheming goes that matters. We all know Deebo isn't playing a full season and without BA he's gonna get dragged through the mud until he's hurt.

Yeah market value, he literally had a team offer him $32m per (don't know the actual deal). In a FA market he absolutely gets close to that. The market is showing that WRs matter and aren't cheap. The difference is if you want BA right now, you gotta pay him and give SF legit compensation.

Both sides need him to sign asap.

It sounds like it is over a few million. I have no idea what you're talking about, regarding gambling our future?

This team is ALL IN this yr. You have two receivers that are essentially in the final yrs of their deals and one will be 31 and the other 29 this time next yr.

They need to extend good young talent, that play premium positions.

Yea a team offered him 32…. Exactly the point I made above. It's relative. Can buy a mansion cheap in some areas, while a shack is expensive in others.

agree… both sides need to get this done. I think the hold out is hurting BA more than the niners.

Sounds like and what is happening doesn't look like a couple of mil is what's creating this two month hold out.

as for you don't know what I'm talking about with gambling term, but you keep posting the gambling reference of "All in"?

you do know there is another side of All in right?

This is rich.

BA like most professional athletes are entitled brats with elitist like attitudes. The real world doesnt get to experience these types of 1st + world problems of crying over millions of dollars all while claiming " I have put food on the table" The money they get paid is mind numbing to most as most cant even afford the $10 dollar hotdog and $20 dollar beer at the game. As fans we look past the money but when players get offered contracts worth the GDP of a small country and say not enough all while getting paid millions, its fair for fans to get alittle emotional. If anyone is like me, the 49ers are apart of your enjoyment in life so when entitled brats threaten my enjoyment and the competitiveness of my team, I might get a little emotional.

He is putting himself in danger by not agreeing with the Contract now. If he still plans on playing without a new contract, a major injury could really cause the new contract to decrease in value. Or if he sits out that would show other teams that he is willing to sacrifice his team for himself and would not look good when other teams try to trade or sign him.

He is doing himself a disservice by waiting this out. I'm sure the current Contract is fair for him.

I hear you, I just want to see my team win. I'm not Brandon's agent, what do I care if this guy gets to buy 2 extra Ferrari's to fill his garage? I think he should get paid what he's worth, but what I don't like, is BA's behavior this off season. Saying how he wants to play with Jayden Daniels, and other teams.... he's not a free agent, and still playing under the contract he signed. He's been disrespectful to his teammates.
I hope he plays because I want the team to win, but I lost a lot of respect for him after the Jayden Daniels stuff. I'll focus on the players that want to be 49ers, and are here. he's been a huge distraction.
