Home preseason game today. All these leaks from random sources, would be ironic for the fans to be the ones to leak the news to the rest of the world after hearing it break in the stadium first that Aiyuk has resigned.

Aiyuk if he leaves will be like Davante Adams, and Tyreek and won't be in a situation to succeed in an offensive friendly system that also wins 70% of his games. From Cowherd who I usually don't agree with.

BA said that he ain't worried about no one but himself. I know that's likely from his family but on this team with this many mouths to feed that's rich and it just sucks that he's got going for him that there is not an easy fix to this.

It might not have been a stretch to think that we could have gotten the picks and Amari Cooper in here at a more affordable rate over the next couple years depending on what exactly his contract entails. If BA truly doesn't care about how his deal affects others there may be collateral damage

Once he is signed we're stuck with him at his price for a bit as there will be dead money to absorb. It would make it nearly impossible to trade him to bring in a player that would take a $2M discount to fit in a place where we have Kyle CMC Deebo Kittle Juice Purdy Warner Bosa Hargrove Cali weather etc

I understand that BA wants to maximize his own earnings potential but then he wants free agent free market dollars top of scale right here in SF! That would be preposterous if that's the case. We did it for Bosa but that can't be the norm or else some of these guys are gonna have to go elsewhere for the money and the losing that comes with it
