-Jimmy G is Alex Smith (LMAO)
-They have faced pass rushes like ours already (also LMAO)
-Mahomes is the most mobile QB in the NFL (laughable)
-they shut down Derrick Henry, so they will shut down our running game

Sounds like the Chiefs are going to win 57-12, according to their fans.

They are on a Mahomes high and are too busy reading his press clippings. We will fix that in 2 weeks
Only thing that concerns me with their defense is the Honey Badger. We just have to have a plan for him but otherwise we are going to score this game relentlessly. Just like the '94 team

Listening to fox sports radio and they wonder how the 49ers will win since mahomes can't be stopped and the 49ers have a run based offense. Can't play man or zone against mahomes.

He asked the question is how good can a run based offense be in the modern nfl. He also said that Green Bay being so inept leave more questions for the 49ers. You can't make this stuff up.

KC has a pretty crappy defense right? Just had an easy schedule the last 5 or so games?

Don't believe the stats. They're playing way beyond what their statistical data says. They're playing the run much better in the late half of the season and playoffs especially. With 2 weeks to get ready for the game, Spagnuolo will have something up his sleeve. Same goes for Shanahan obviously.

They go on spurts. If you can limit those then they can be beaten. Can't give up turnovers in this game or go three and out especially when they are on one of their spurts. Texans completely failed in this regard.

Shanahan can't become too enamored with the run and go 3 & out a couple times if it isn't working. That could be disastrous. Jimmy can lead us back from down a couple scores, it will take stops from the D and putting the ball in his hands.

So who here, or anywhere for that matter thought that Shanny would throw 27 times and rush 86 times in the playoffs? He typically likes balance but focuses on what a defense gives him. I do expect him to reach deep into the bag of tricks like he did vs. New Orleans if need be.
Serious question: who's the faster team on offense? I know we have some track stars on our team, but all I hear about is how fast KC is.

It sounds like we have faster RBs, but they have it at WRs.
Man the more I read about the 84 super bowl the more it resembles this one.

One dimensional offense with an unbelievable QB. They mentioned that the 49ers were shocked that the dolphins defense was super bowl worthy.

If we play our game we will win.
Who has watched the Chiefs' OL closely and has some good intel? It looks like they don't give up a ton of sacks and are Top 5 in the least amount of sacks given up. I like the Niners' DL against any OL, especially with a healthy Ford, but curious about any insights on the Chiefs' OL.

This came out today. Both teams are scary fast on O:

We have the best roster 1-53 anyone with half a brain can see that. Even Vegas with a 1.5 sucker line can see that.

One of their boards a fan did a comparison against our D line. Basically they believe they have great pass protection tackles with an average interior that excels more at PP vs run. Their tackles are good against the quicker DE's but can get pushed around by strength so they were talking about how Dee Ford will get shut down.

The Chiefs Oline is top 5 imo, along with ours. Outside of QB , WR and S it's the only position group that's even close in this matchup

Thank you - that's interesting. About Ford, he does know their OL well, strengths/weaknesses, etc., from having practiced against them a lot in the past. Bosa does play with power & technique so hoping he'll give them fits.
