Then, I can't tell you how excruciating it will be the next two weeks living and working here in KC.

They're more like paper tigers than a cat that's actually dangerous. Still a good team, sure. But not a real threat to this high octane Chiefs team. Not even close."

I guess us having one of the toughest 2nd half schedules doesn't count. On top of the fact that the Vikings and Packers > Texans and Titans.

This is too good.

Man what a bunch of idiots lol.

I really hope they read stuff in this forum as well.

There's so many hilarious things in there. They obviously don't have a sus or CC to keep them grounded, just tons of homers.
"Most complete team, got them playing at a high level, front 7, Richard Sherman, George Kittle. Heard it before. Still not enough. Gonna be tough to beat us because eventually we will find a way to beat them and the way playoff games are nowdays with the huge timeouts and commercials, our defense won't be taxed at all playing in 50-60 degree weather. Expect a total blowout."

So Chiefs are going to blow us out because, super bowl commercials....

Well alright then....

The laughs keep coming:
Niners are tou"gh but overrated. They had a soft schedule in the regular season. And the team they beat in the NFCC nearly lost to good Ole' Midnight Hour. Their DL is great but their secondary cant come close to matching our speed. I'm very confident.

Two words I have to describe the Niners: Uncontested. Unexplosive."

"uncontested, unexplosive"
Are you F'ing kidding me? I guess it was just an "unexplosive" offense that managed to score more PPG than theirs and 30 other teams in the NFL.

These comments.......

They are on a Mahomes high right now. Like a young chap that just got his first piece and can't keep his mouth shut. We have been there done that and we will do it again in 2 weeks. Gonna turn these dudes into the 1995 SD Chargers. 49-26

Do they know what early leads are because they had to come from behind to win both their playoff games.

Reminds me of the Broncos/Panthers Super Bowl as much as I hate it.

Panthers had an easy time getting to the SB but the Broncos were determined. They wanted it more."

These guys are full on ham in there. It's awesomely, hilarious.

Last week: "Rodgers will win because he's hungry".
The hell does that even mean? As if the team that wants it more will always win. There's also talent, coaching, and execution that play much bigger roles in the outcome of a game than hunger.

Well to be fair Andy Reid is their coach. Hunger is always a factor.

He did say he ate a cheeseburger then went to bed to celebrate the AFC title win, lol.

jd coming hard with stats and logic.

But how do you explain how hungry Andy Reid is? 49ers have no answer for that hunger.
Chiefs fans going off on how we don't have speed in the secondary, I guess they missed that Eman had a 4.42 time in the 40.....

Humble

Jimmy Ward? K Williams? And 7 men in coverage. Also, in their secondary. Do they have the physicality to withstand the downfield blocks that our team will issue them on long runs? And our LBs are fast too

Statistically, he's above average in hunger for NFL HC's. But I don't know if he's hungrier than Mike Holmgren or John Madden in their primes. Definitely seems to have more hunger than BW or KS unless we factor in metabolic rates tested at the combine, but that was when they first got into coaching.
One Chiefs fan talked about how Andy Reid could draw up Kyle's plays on a napkin at a restaurant and still run them better - not if it doesn't exist anymore because Andy ate the napkin cause it had some hollondaise sauce on it.

We could have Sherm sneak a Snickers into the game in his sock, a la T.O. with the sharpie and "accidentally" drop it right in front of Andy. His insatiable hunger may make him go for it, and when he does, we all know Snickers satisfied hunger. Game. Set. Match.

Jimmy Ward speed on a bad day:

'Great downfield speed, both in games and at his pro day, where he ran a 4.47-second 40-yard dash despite needing surgery on his foot.'

He was injured then too. Not a surprise

But like I was saying, we've got 40 years of history watching game managers and seeing them occasionally have that one shining moment. All those things you just said in his defense? They're things Chiefs fans have been saying prior to Mahomes about every guy except Montana and Green.

Thus, they ring hollow/false. I know the 49ers played that Baltimore game in bad passing conditions, but they win that game with a few more plays in the passing game from Garoppolo.

The other game you cited was a home win against a non-playoff team quarterbacked by Mason Rudolph, in which Garoppolo never trailed by more than one score, threw for a pedestrian yardage total, and threw two picks that led to 6 points for the opposing team.

You understand why that doesn't make the case for being more than a guy who leans on his D and run game, right?https://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=328296&page=83

I was chatting with a Chiefs fan at the NFC Championship game (Not quite sure why he was there). He was impressed with the Niners but claimed that Jimmy never had to win a game. I pointed out the Saints and Cardinals this year. His response "Garoppolo didn't win that game." I gave him a funny look and ended the conversation. I'm pretty sure their fans haven't seen us play this year.
