I find it funny when KC fans bring up the fact that they stopped the titans run game...SF is a whole different animal in regards to scheme and personnel.
Throw in we basically have two extra lineman with Kittle and Juice blocking out there.
Titans don't use a FB and their TEs aren't on the same planet as Kittle in regards to blocking or as a receiver.

I guess us having one of the toughest 2nd half schedules doesn't count. On top of the fact that the Vikings and Packers > Texans and Titans.
This is too good.

Man what a bunch of idiots lol.
I really hope they read stuff in this forum as well.
I used to think Seahawks fans were the dumbest, most irrational fans in the world. But going to Vikings, Packers and now Chiefs forums the last 3 weeks, I realize all fanbases are delusional and don't know jack sh-t about the 49ers.

IDK...I consider Andy Reid one of the best O playcaller and playschemers out there. Normally i rate or QB/OC way superior to or opponents. But in N.O, it was equal. Against KC, it is equal . All coaches make a mistake now and then, kyle included. But not often and in this game, i think OC/QB is even Steven on both sides. (Ok QB/HC)

"A soft NFC" LMAOOOOO
that might be the most ignorant, off the mark, horrible statement every. The AFC was garbage this year. The pats were a shell of themselves, Miami was almost a meme all year long, the Bengals are getting the #1 pick, Lamar and the Ravens went full potato, TENN was completely one dimensional, Watson was sacked more than the opening filmakers of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, the Bills were just not a well rounded team and their QB is in the bottom 1/3 of the league, Browns were a joke, Broncos were sadly underwhelming, the Raiders were bad and yet were still in the mix, Steelers couldn't keep QB's from getting hit with helmets, the Jets were LOL bad.
The NFC, the packers, Saints, Seahawks, Vikings, even Rams, Bucs, Cowboys, Eagles were all better than the majority of the AFC.
oh man, they're panicking

I would be curious to see the Chiefs vs. Chargers games this year. Both were Chiefs victories but:
Game 1: 24-17
Mahomes: 19-32, 182 YDS, 1 TD, 1 INT
Mahomes: 5 CAR, 59 YDS
Game 2: 31-21
Mahomes: 16-25, 174 YDS, 1 TD, 1 INT
Williams: 12 CAR, 124 YDS, 2 TD
Mahomes 7 CAR, 21 YDS

Interesting find. Chargers gave Green Bay trouble too. I believe Gus Bradley runs a similar defensive scheme to SF

Maybe the reason you're not getting the reaction you're looking for, in terms of conversation, is that you're saying stuff with your Niners glasses on like its fact...
Things such as "little chance to go to his second or third read based on their pass rush ability."
Based on what? Yes, the 49ers have a good defensive line. Have you considered how KC's offensive line matches up?
The Chiefs have an excellent pass protecting OL. RT Mitchell Schwartz has been going against elite LE for years and has consistently won those matchups and limited those players.
Khalil Mack, Von Miller, and Joey Bosa ... nonimpact guys against KC with Mahomes under center. Miller and Mack have sacks against KC in that timeframe - and a grand total of 2.5 in 6 games played - but not when lined up on their traditional left side, against Schwartz. Bosa has never sacked Patrick Mahomes.
Eric Fisher is a good LT and is particularly good against finesse rushers like Dee Ford. If you put a power guy on him, he can be leveraged with the bull rush on occasion. James Harrison owned his soul, specifically. Arik Armstead lined up on Fisher actually is probably San Francisco's best matchup against these two; does he line up much on the right side for you? He's been LE every game I've watched this year (5-6).
The interior of the Chiefs' OL isn't special, especially in the run game, but it does a good job in the passing attack. The one time since Mahomes became QB that pressure was a REAL probably was facing off against Aaron Donald last year. DeForest Buckner is a star, but he isn't Aaron Donald when it comes to interior pass rushing. He's not even close to the best interior pass rusher playing in the Super Bowl (that guy wears #95 for KC).
The 49ers front four is good, no doubt. But expecting them to win so consistently and easily against KC that Mahomes is limited to first reads is silly - because it isn't based in fact.

There's so many hilarious things in there. They obviously don't have a sus or CC to keep them grounded, just tons of homers.
"Most complete team, got them playing at a high level, front 7, Richard Sherman, George Kittle. Heard it before. Still not enough. Gonna be tough to beat us because eventually we will find a way to beat them and the way playoff games are nowdays with the huge timeouts and commercials, our defense won't be taxed at all playing in 50-60 degree weather. Expect a total blowout."

They just get their information from the media which means our only good plays are Kittle and Bosa and Jimmy G is an Average Game Manager who will lose games when there is not a running game.

They could be good calls or bad but either way they could have an effect on the game. I know we have the number 1 passing defense but we haven't faced any team that throws deep like these guys. For me, it realy comes down to how much pressure we get on Mahomes. If we can bother him enough, we win this game going away.
This is an interesting topic. I think a good way to mitigate the KC speed at WR is to be aggressive and hands on with press/bump at the line, with a safety over the top in case the CB is beat off the line. They aren't big and can re-routed if the CBs are physical. If the 49er CBs can walk the line with illegal contact/defensive holding, then KC will have their speed lessened. If the refs are calling it tight and flagging illegal contact downfield each time it happens, KC will benefit greatly.
With KC's run game being non-existent, I think playing two safeties back will not hurt the 49ers and can help them defend the pass.
To me that was an obvious thing to try against Michael Thomas in N.O, but nope, we just never did it

The #1 offense in the NFL is 8-6 in the Super Bowl, when they make it.
The #1 defense in the NFL is 8-3 in the Super Bowl, when they make it.

Fandom gets in the way of facts. SF had one of the hardest 2nd half of the season schedules in NFL history

At least we can acknowledge that KC is a great team that is going to take everything we got to beat them.
KC fans think they can just walk through this game and win.
They are going to get a rude awakening like the Ravens fans did when we played them at their house and almost beat them, and the Saints fans when we showed them what Jimmy was capable of.

These guys obviously didn't watch the last 5 games of the season. They've just watched the 2 playoff games, LOL. Well, RIP them.
