🏆 SF 49ERS vs KC CHIEFS PREGAME THREAD - SUPER BOWL LIV 🏆

For me it's two main things with cascading thoughts on them:

1. Can we pressure Mahomes? If we can and it's mainly our front four doing it, this game won't go well for the Chiefs.

1.a Occasionally throw in a 5th rusher/spy- lag guy to keep him contained. I love the idea.

1.b. I think Bosa is a given to have a solid game. I'm more curious about Ford doing great and...

1.c. Buckner. I feel like he's going to have a monster game. Just a hunch.

1.d. Armstead- these guys just play so well off each other. I can't see them not being a huge factor.

However. Even with great pressure Mahomes will make some plays and score some points. He is that good and i have to keep it real.

2. How successful can we run the ball? If we can run at will it's all she wrote.

2.a. If KC can contain the run imo we will be able to pass. I just can't see KC defense dominating.

2.b. If they are stopping the run because they are selling out to stop the run then passing and play action will work great for us etc.

I think KC will actually play more what they normally play. (Extra guy in the box, but account for play action etc) I'm not sure they will stack the box unless we just run it down their throats early on.

I'd usually say the first quarter will feel each other out, but Reid doesn't know how to do anything but pass and go deep lol. I believe Kyle will score 60 points if he can after his lesson in Atlanta lol

Honestly this team has seen pretty much every type of game and QB style. Shanny will have them prepared.

Love Cowherd. The guy always makes sense.

Smartest take of the game I have heard! Not just cause he likes SF either....
I like that Jimmy has the best qb rating when team is trailing. Shows how explosive Shanahan can be when he wants/needs to be.
