Yea, I think the NFL changed the superbowl into the probowl gimmick pre-game passing competition and Mahomes has already been given the Lombardy.

I've seen some people comparing this team with the 1981 team because of the turn around and it being the 3rd year for Walsh and Shanny. This team is much better at nearly every position than the 1981 team. The only positions I would give the edge to the 1981 team are QB and the DBs. This D line is better, the LBs are at least as good, the backs are better and the receivers, including the TE are better. The play calling is probably about equal since Kyle is running an evolved west coast offense.

Time for the Niners too shut em up!
Didn't you get the memo though? The Chiefs defense is just as good if not better. They gave up less points per game than we did.

I hope that's another hit that connects from Mr Hitner.

I've heard so much in the media about how the 49ers won't be able to stop the Chiefs historic offense but few have discussed how KC is going to be able to shutdown the 49ers offense, especially the run game.
"The Chiefs defense looked good against some crap teams late in the season and were able to stop a one-dimensional Titans run game that began and ended with Henry so as a result, the 49ers can't score."

How much of difference do you think having Mike Shanny helping out this year? What's his official role with the team?
With his experience and knowledge, plus Kyle's, I think we're in good hands
He probably scouted KC and made the preliminary game plan. He has to help his son ya know!
It's awesome that Kyle has basically a full-time coach that has no other responsibilities other than watching film and thinking up game plans! And a very good coach who loves to do it
He'd be a great GM if we ever needed an emergency GM (i.e. losing Peter's or Mayhew).

If we win like that I'm gonna go jump in a snowbank buck naked.
