Lucky for us, teams with the better defenses usually do better. 2013 and 2015 super bowls were evidence of this.

I can agree to that. There are differences in ability between them, I agree. One shorter than the other, one more elusive etc... different recievers... but overall, the 49ers have a winning record against these types of QB's. That 4 man rush will give anybody's passing game fits, even Montana if he was still playing. Mobility helps extend plays, but there are counters to moving pocket plays, roll outs and boots. Etc... just because a QB is mobile doesn't mean he can extend plays every time. All this defense needs is to stall KC a couple of times, get a lead and the game is over. The 49er run game will put them out of their misery a la the '84 superbowl.

Andy Reid is a loser coach. I saw a quote from him that said "We lost the AFCCG last year by 4 inches" referring to Dee lining up offsides. Any coach who blames 1 play for a loss is a f**king loser. Fans fine, they are fans and we are allowed minus anything else to cling to, but a Head Coach? f**king loser and I hope he never wins the Lombardi. Do a better job Andy and maybe you don't have to worry about the offsides penalty.

Okay. I remember watching something where he was talking up the niners then after all that he said Mahomes is Superman and can't be stopped

What gives me confidence is how every Super Bowl it seems that a hyped up unstoppable offense comes into the Super Bowl the toast of the NFL and everyone thinks it will be a rout. Then that quiet team with the better defense crushes them. Remember last year and the offensive juggernaut that was the Rams? Yeah. Or the Greatest Show on Turf?

He probably scouted KC and made the preliminary game plan. He has to help his son ya know!

It's awesome that Kyle has basically a full-time coach that has no other responsibilities other than watching film and thinking up game plans! And a very good coach who loves to do it

Damn, i think we were that team in 2012

I personally love that the Chiefs are getting all the praise in the media. All of them will be eating crow come Sunday night

is anyone besides me factoring in how much better the NFC was than the AFC this season. the NFC was a bloodbath this year in the regular season an to get into the playoffs. just more competition, better teams and better games. wev played better teams all season and beat better teams to get to the SB. the chiefs have played inferior teams an beat worse teams to get to the SB. i think our play and our wins is just on a level above the chiefs and any other AFC team. the AFC was a clear step down from the NFC this year.

i think the only team that could have competed with us in this game was the ravens.

I'm starting to wonder if the Chiefs are playing themselves since the talk is only about them
