2019 Niners already beyond my expectations all year.
A lot here really underestimate how good our d is and what a good pass rush does to even the best of qbs. Wil we give up points to them of course but we will also make stops, we're not the Texans, Tennessee or any garbage in their division.
KCs o-line was giving Pat all day to throw. Hopefully we can get after him. It won't be easy but it's doable

Same here man! Was born in 89, don't really remember Niner games untill 97 and on up.
Luckily the bay area have the warriors and giants.

It's gonna come down to the 49ers offense vs the Chiefs defense, which is not bad.
Unless the 49ers defensive front owns this game, they will not stop KC. The are basically the Kurt Warner era Rams minus Faulk. (And the Patriots "cheated" to beat them in SB 36)

I agree. So Shanahan cant go vanilla again with the offense and just run the ball. Its gonna take a bigger effort from the passing game to win.
The nice thing is he didnt put much on tape in terms of kittle and the pass game, or sanders. Not gonna be allot to key in on if Kyle wants to go aggressive with some new stuff they put in in the past month.
Out of curiosity why is running the ball down the opponent's throat always considered 'vanilla'?

That's how old I was when they won their first. The last came the year I graduated high school. Was REAL spoiled growing up, so really want this one!

They will score, but can KCs defense stop us from scoring? I think not.

So happy we didnt have to show all our saucy plays tonight. I think Shanny will have some awesome tricks up his sleeve! I do worry that we get way up in a hurry and take our foot off the gas. Saw some ghosts of Falcons vs. Patriots SB prevent offense / defense tonight. Chiefs are easily a team that can make up some point in a hurry.
