The scary thing about KC is not that Mahomes is as elusive as Murray, Wilson, etc it's that his weapons are 10x better than theirs. He's throwing to Kelce, Hill and Watkins. An arsenal that made Alex Smith into a real qb. You combine that with Mahomes being that d good and it's going to be hard to stop no matter how good your d is especially with today's rules.
Hold them to 24 which I think our d is capable of we got 6, I really think Kyle will put up over 30 on them and continue to score to make a major statement

Just watched the KC vs Titan game. Just some observations. To stop the titan run game (king henry), KC had to go to a goal line formation. Otherwise even if they knew he was running the ball, he was still ripping 2 and three yard gains off the KC run defense.
KC has a mediocre run game, but a big portion of their run game is Pat Mahomes.
Finally, we are up against another Russel Midget type of QB that can scramble out of a pass rush. It's a good thing we have beat most of the off schedule QB's we've faced this year.
I think our run game can control the game. Titans were ahead 10 points but could not keep the lead because they couldn't convert 3rd downs through the air. We can.
We have to keep Mahomes on the sidelines, because it takes him a bit of time to warm up that offense of theirs. I think the cold weather has something to do with it at their home turf. Their WR's kept dropping balls or Pat overthrowing in the beginning of the game. That's how titans got the lead in the first place. Also titans defense was pretty good. However the titan defense got tired.
Pat scrambles at the end of the first half for a go ahead TD because the titan defense got tired after Mahomes converted a couple of third downs with his legs on that last KC drive in the first half.
Titans could not mount a comeback because they were unable to pass on that KC pass defense, but titans could move the ball with good play action passes. Titans had to abandon the run because they were behind and running out of time--- otherwise titans did have a lot of success on the ground.
I came away from that game feeling that we're facing Seadderall- all over again. Good that we beat those kinds of teams, bad that we cant make too many mistakes against KC or we will lose the game.
why the hell do people legit think Mahomes is as quick and elusive as Wilson?? Titans LBS are no where near as fast as ours and their d line other than Landry got no pressure on him. On that TD run that got everyone wet in their pants Titans looked like a peewee team trying to tackle the bigger kid that got held back multiple years. You can just see with the eye test that Mahomes is nowhere near the level of runner and elusiveness as Wilson, Jackson and Murray. Im sure Mahomes can run around on defenses with front 7's as slow as Houstons and Tennessee
Agreed. They were going for the strip, not the tackle. Their technique was terrible.
95.7 the Game: "Lets not pat Jed on the back, just yet. He got LUCKY Elway chose Joseph over Shanahan. He got LUCKY Jacksonville went with Marrone."
-Pretty much yesterday's show discussed whether or not he should deserve some praise for the turnaround. The hosts and the morons that called in pretty much trashed him the entire show.
"I would feel the same way about the 49ers going into this game if KIRK COUSINS was the QB. It's the system. Shanahan is the best play-caller in the NFL. Only Baker & Jameis had more games with an INT. If Jimmy Garappolo is better than I think he is, then the Chiefs have no chance of winning this game because the 49ers are a more complete team. There's a reason the Chiefs are favored."

This is why I don't watch TV or listen to the radio anymore (not because they are saying mean things about my team, but because of the sheer ignorance of these "analysts.")
Sadly I can see Jimmy having one of his typical "why did he throw that pass" int's. So Niners need at least force 2 TO's to offset the inevitable 1 int Jimmy will have.

The bolded is so f**king insane to say 😂😂😂
Nick Wright is an idiot. Dude said the Vikings would roll and then when that failed, said Rodgers would have a field day.
KC offense is very good...
I fully trust Kyle to call a great game, as usual....don't remember this year a game where he was "outcoached" or had a bad gameplan...
To win: NO turnovers, run on them, control the clock, run on them, capitalize at the maximum the red zone opportunities, run on them, and again...NO turnovers !
GO NINERS !!!!

Make it national news with the Super Bowl bringing it to the forefront of public opinion and judgement.
The people have a lot of power, especially in today's political climate.
Honestly if Karma is real, this would be the game for it to shows its face.
Tyreek Hill and Frank Clark do not deserve a SB ring. They're talented players but total scumbags who shouldn't be playing.
I like a lot of their players and probably would be rooting for them if we weren't playing them but this 49ers roster is so much more deserving(no homer) just a great group of guys and a guy like Staley who deserves a ring.
Let's start him off with #1 next Sunday! End the season on a W.

I'd go as far as reminding Roger Goodell about both Hill & Clark having domestic problems asking him on Twitter is that the type of people u want representing the league?
Maybe that will convince him the to f**k over KC. I mean he already showed he can be bought out before Baltimore bought it's way into a Championship
Why can't we. Whatever it takes
Talking heads are paid to keep a show interesting enough so that you don't change the channel and see the ads. One of the easiest ways to keep people on the channel is to stir the passions. Pissing off a substantial minority of the audience is an invitation for both fan bases to engage in heated blather and, critically, not change the channel. News channels of all stripes do the same thing. You have a much better take on how the game might unfold by reading the boards here and looking at the Vegas spread, where people are actually wagering money. The Chiefs lost four games this year, and they fell significantly behind in two playoff games against not-the-greatest teams. They are very good. They are not invincible. It's probably going to be a tight game if both teams play well. But you never know which way the ball will bounce, who will make a critical turnover, will there be a significant injury, etc. These dudes on TV are just filling minutes and selling flavored seltzer water.
