That is no more an news article than a post on this thread. 12 up is just a site where fans pretend to be journalists and the guy is obviously a Chiefs fan who wants to dismiss anything and everything our guys have accomplished. It is kind of sad really, because if we do win...that is the type of guy who will be looking for a tall bridge. You cant disrespect your opponent that way, ESPECIALLY, in a goddamn superbowl. If you made this far, clearly you are really goddamn good....to pretend otherwise makes you look like a moron.

I am not familiar with the site. It showed up on my FB feed this morning. While this writer does go to the extreme, it isn't far off from the national coverage though. I was watching NFL Total Access last night and the only edge they gave us was our run game vs Chiefs run D. Turn on ESPN and you get the same ignorant coverage. You would think from listening to these people that we were double digit underdogs. The only one on the NFL Network that I really respect is that Cynthia Frelund. She gives her analysis based on computer models rather than on emotion and bias.

I had this discussion on another board...the words game manager do not apply for Jimmy overall.

Alex Smith was a great guy but he played it SUPER safe. He never let the ball fly unless it was the playoffs and it was do or die. How many 3rd down failures did we see with him because he played safe?

Jimmy is the total opposite of that and his 3rd down conversion rating speaks to that.

Running it down the other team's throat when they know it's coming and can't stop it doesn't mean your QB is a game manager. It means you're playing smart football and improving your odds of winning. It is beyond stupid to throw the ball just for the hell of it. If the other team can't stop you from picking up first down after first down running the ball then don't stop what's working.

I like how Walsh opened the Superbowl against Miami with a reverse. The Chiefs will over-pursue in their determination to stop Mostert, so this might be a great play call off the bat!

Honestly let them down play us. Hopefully the chiefs are watching and take us lightly. We've been thru this all year. We weren't supposed to be able to beat real teams like greenbay and the saints but we did. Our losses all came within the last seconds of the game. We couldve very easily been undefeated but theres nee excuses as to why we are fake every week. Let's fake it all the way thru the superbowl and smash in these chiefs. They cant stop our run, they cant stop our pass either and our defense will make them very one dimensional. We should win by 10 or so
