🏆 SF 49ERS vs KC CHIEFS PREGAME THREAD - SUPER BOWL LIV 🏆

I said this in a different thread about comparing this superbowl to 2012 but I'm gonna say it again here- The funny thing about this game is it seems a total role reversal from 2012.
The chiefs remind me more of the niners then, everyone hopped up on the new exciting qb, ignoring issues on d (ours were injury related in 2012 but same blindness there), cocky team. The ravens were much more disciplined and honestly everyone underestimated flacco. The niners waited til second half to kick into gear in that superbowl. Pretty much the story of KC during the entire playoffs. The niners did it against the Falcons too, in the playoffs, remember?
And everyone is too busy fawning over their comebacks to see the real issue with falling behind like that when you go against a complete team. Not so easy to comeback.

According to media and vegas I should put all my money on chiefs, except that lone dude who put 684k on the niners..someone in this scenario is wrong lol

Link?

Google is your friend

I tried that. And I thought we were friends in here, my bad.

DraftKings Sportsbook announced they have received a $684,000 wager on the San Francisco 49ers as 2-point underdogs. The bettor bought a half point which lowered the odds from -110 to -114. It would pay out $1,285,920.

Thank you, kind sir.
We are friends I was just lazy lol

DraftKings is online isn't it? Lol I guess I could google

Chiefs forum says Alex Smith was a far better game manager than Jimmy G. Not only is Jimmy G a "game manager." Alex Smith was far better than him.

Wonderful insight, great points!

I heard you've been representing us! Represent!

I visited some of their forums a few times, and had to delete my browser history. Those fans are wild animals lol.

I have this really funny feeling that Andy Reid is going to go nuts and do some wacky things that just might work if we're not ready. I'm not talking a reverse play or flea-flicker since those are almost a guarantee. I'm talking an onside kick to open a half, a fake punt or field goal, or a crazy fourth down call or two. Reid is probably thinking "f it. I've screwed up in so many big games playing conservatively. Maybe I need to try going bananas this time and see what happens!"

I hope we are ready for it.

Well ummmmmm.......

Yeah I got nothing they are coming off as ignorant as the Baltimore fans.
Let the media, other front offices, and coaches say what they want. Once everyone sees Mahomes running for his life and having his face mask planted in the turf, there will be a ton of crow dinners floating around

I love me some Alex Smith but this is the stupidest f**king thing I've ever heard. Jimmy G's balls are ten times bigger than Smith. The dude stands in the pocket and converts third downs like no one in the NFL right now.

Calling Jimmy G a game manager is simply lazy and ignorant at this point. He's not being hidden. He just has no ego therefore Shanahan can do what works and not have to worry about getting Jimmy his stats. Team first football at it's finest.

Dude you need Xanex or something. Good lord. This Niners team is so far superior to KC it's ridiculous. Sure they have a chance, Mahomes could have the game of his life. "Any given Sunday." But we're the better team by far.
We should onside kick to open the game.
Wonder what the crowd is going to be like - all year niner fans have travelled very well.

Seemed pretty even back in 2012 or didn't seem like we had an overwhelming advantage
Aside from LOB a few years back this is the best team I've seen in recent memory. I'm kind of shocked but I like the underdog status

That seems like something the Texans would do. It's also how they lose. Crazy decisions like that.
