I read that B/R article by Mike Freeman. He really only talked to 3 asst coaches and 2 NFL execs lol. That said the article is heavily slanted in favor of the Chiefs.

We will see. I like this team a lot. But there are some question marks here. Also some guys who will hit free agency and may leave. Jimmy G is nowhere near as bad as the media presents him to be. They got him ranked below Alex Smith game manager level. Anybody who watched all year long and his career with the 49ers knows that's not true at all. That said he is no Mahomes. Nobody is. Mahomes is maybe the most elite young QB in the game. The 49ers are used to having the dominant QB when they enter the Super Bowl. They had Montana and Steve Young. You just knew they were going to win. Or were at least highly confident. In Mahomes you are playing against a super human QB. I like Jimmy G and he is good but he doesn't inspire that much confidence. He can make all the throws. It is somewhat blown out of proportion but he can and does sometimes make that 1 mind numbing play per game. If he could get rid of that he could enter the elite QB status. I think he is good. He is certainly very good for a fan base that was used to dealing with Alex Smith and Kaepernick.

Dominate teams do need more than the qb. I just want to point that out. There were a hell of a lot of good players next to young and Montana. The more complete teams win. Thats why im rolling with the niners here.

We're being totally disrespected by the talking heads and media. Pure bulletin board material and Shanahan should use this to the max.

Greg Cosell of nfl films said of watching film that Nick Bosa will have a chance to dominate the left tackle fisher of the chiefs and buckner and armstead will have there chance against there guards. There best O Lineman is there right tackle. The niners will have to play zone but if the niners df line dominates I like our chances very much. Plus greg said that the chiefs df is better but they are undisciplined and kyle shanahan will see it on film. He also said Mahomes is like Russell Wilson but not as fast or explosive as a runner but with a stronger arm with more weapons. I believe the niners will win a close game because they are the most complete team in the nfl. The past has shown us that a top 5 defense against a top 5 offense in the super bowl that the defense team is 15-5 in this game. Plus what people keep sleeping on this that we have a great offense with a great defense.

Its the super bowl so Tartt will play in this game and if he has to shoot it up with some medicine he will do it! This is for all the marbles and tomorrow isnt promised to anybody.

Yeah, I think we'll get a lead on them and hang for the Chip.

This game will come down to two things:

1) how does the Niners' Pass Defense fair against Mahomes and their WR/TE/RB in the pass game (Including scrambles), and

2) how does the Chiefs' Run Defense fair against the Niners running game.

I expect the Niners Run Defense to handle the Chiefs' running attack and I expects Garapollo to have a good but not great game throwing vs the Chiefs Pass Defense.
