I've heard they like Rodgers with +7 but that the consensus is the Niners will win.

It sucks to come up one game short. Some of those games the 49ers were beat by a better team. The 1990 and 2011 losses to the Giants strike me as games where we played better than the opponent and gave it away with mistakes. Still, it is a big achievement in itself to play in the conference championship and should be a point of pride how many times the Niners have been in the hunt, in addition to their five Lombardi trophies.

After getting benched, #49ers CB Ahkello Witherspoon approached ST coach Richard Hightower and told him he was fine and was ready to take all of Emmanuel Moseley's reps on special teams. Kyle Shanahan said that spoke to way this team is built.

Speaking of, Shanahan said Kittle has never once in three years came up to him during a game and asked for the ball to be thrown to him, but Kittle comes up to Shanahan "about every seven plays" about what type of run play the 49ers need to do, and who Kittle needs to hit.
