Dude is an idiot as far as football IQ is concerned to me.

He's a lifelong Vikings fan. I understood the pick last week. This week he's choosing the rival Packers just because he's a bitter tool.

Packers keep it closer than the first game in the first half, then the Niners close out the game after going up by 2-3 scores in the second half.

Totally agree. Chris Simms said the Packers always "hang on" in the second half of their games this year. If we can get up by halftime, we should be able to build on it in the second half. Hopefully we get the ball coming out at half and hopefully going into the 4th we are up by at least 12 points.
Rich Eisen asked Mariucci about the game today. Mooch said he'd rewatched the first game and it wasn't as close as the score indicated. He said the Niners were just a better team. He then changed the subject and never returned. There was nothing more to say.

Edit - He did describe the Niner running attack. But I got the impression he didn't think there was much to discuss about the game's competitiveness.

Stephen A making excuses for rodgers and packers already.

And the fact he got the middle finger and florio sucks chants post game by a big group of niner fans - Chris Simms and he saw it - waved back.

It seems too good to be true TBH.

and i'm not taking GB lightly.

Jus gonna do what i've been doing all season. Sit quiet, and let this team do the shutting up for us.
So true. I'm not much of a trash talker. It always seems when I talk smack it ends badly. But I will celebrate hard if everything goes good for us. Go NINERS
Has anyone mentioned the fact the we passed on Aaron Rogers in the 2005 draft, with Rogers taking that very personally - especially as he was a massive 49ers fan as a kid.

I kinda was also. Webzone was high on him at the time. A lot of angry folks here when we passed on him. Then when Smith was mediocre s**t hit the fan.

You being sarcastic right? That narrative has been throw around for like what 15 yrs now.

We get, SF missed on Rogers over a decade ago...they've played games against each other plenty of times and in big moments as well since then.

Literally there isn't anyone still in their position from that draft in SF

Let's move on people lol. If Rogers holds a grudge STILL then he's being a petty little b***h at this pt.

Going from the Bay Area to the North Pole - I'd be pissed, too.

A million yrs ago in football lol. Does this narrative have to come up every time we play him?

It's like your ex from 15 yrs ago still holding a grudge after having her own family/kids and a happy successful life.
