I think that's pretty insulting to Jimmy G lol. Shanahan has always favored the pass more than the run in retrospect. This year was different to start due to Jimmy's return from injury so he went run heavy. He uses the run to set up play action and other things, but he's generally not a run heavy play coach.

Before this week, I'm sure a majority of this forum would have preferred a 49ers vs. Vikings matchup over a rubber-match with the Seahawks.

Although our roster is more superior (and healthier) than the 'Hawks, they just always seem to find a way to make every game a bar-fight until the end.

Rested 49er defense + Shanahan extra time to prepare + a traveling/beat-up Vikings team? We got this.

We are division rivals so they always play us hard. That and they have owned us for the most part since Wilson got there. Right and we hadn't beat AZ (until this yr) since 2014 lol. Yet we've always called that game a victory before the game lol.

I get the stigma with Seattle, truth is their team isn't that good this yr. imo it will be SF vs GB to go to the SB

Or they just got really lucky in one game. Doesn't mean it'll continue. They're not as good as some on here seem to think they are.

Drew Brees might have a different opinion. 26/33, 208 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT. Other than one long run by Hill, they did nothing on the ground either...and this is the same team that hung a 40 burger on us.

Make no mistake about it, this is going to be a very tough game.

Agreed. They have a top end defense with playmakers on offense. Still think SF is the better team but it's not gonna be some blow out.

Seriously, we are in a great position, we have been given a great opportunity. We just need to play like have and we will be fine.
