Dre has the new record for most spectacular game saving tackle.

Bunz did it in the Super Bowl - Dre did it against our rivals for the NFC West title and the #1 seed through out the NFC playoffs - that counts for something.

I like Greenlaws because it was literally the last play for Seattle in the game and it won us the game. I believe the Bunz tackle was game saving. Not to take anything away from Bunz.

Bunz had a little more help than Greenlaw since it was a goal line stand. He made the initial hit but other guys got in on it. Greenlaw was by himself. Someone else got in after he was stopped but it was really all Greenlaw.

Both great tackles. Fred Warner was more than just a spectator though. I think they were both necessary to stop him rolling over into the end zone.

The Bunz tackle that was compared to was the 3rd down play where Ken Anderson pass the ball to the RB and he made the game saving tackle one on one. The 4th down was a running play where the RB was stopped by 3 guys I believed including Bunz . Either way it was an awesome play by both Bunz and Greenlaw for what was on the line.

Thaaaank you!

Yoink!

Amazing how much force he generated standing still. Just the force of his body eliminated his momentum and sent it in reverse

He accelerated to him quickly, had his feet and body angled right and hit him just in the right spot to take him off his feet. Pretty impressive for spontaneous reaction.

Give it to him - that was a hell of a play to tackle him high not low.

If Jimmie Ward had known to tackle high against ATL, this game probably doesn't matter. Still can't believe he went low on Julio and pretty much flipped him right into the endzone.

We had two guys bracketing Julio on this play... neither of those guys was named Jimmie Ward. He came up and nearly saved the game and considering the ball broke the plane by about 3/4 of an inch, kinda stupid to give him too hard of a time.

As for Dre Greenlaw- what a f**king tackle. Legendary.

ward tackling julio high? he'd get splattered. He made the right choice and it almost worked out.
