I thought I heard tails too when the game was on. The NFL officials are the worst out of any major sport. Since replay came in they know everything gets looked at 15 times and they don't give a f**k what they call anymore. I don't even know why they are on the field.
Now their incompetence has reached the coin toss. Why Sherman didn't protest I have no clue. Pathetic.

But if you told me the niners would be 8-1 after 9 games I would have signed up for that.
Move on and beat the Cards.

Losing a last second game in OT doesn't equal getting embarrassed

No kidding and what else pisses me off is when I heard Stephen A Smith say Jimmy G is the weak link when basically him and Russell Wilson had the same stats (give or take a few yards).

I said we embarrassed ourselves. And i'll stand by that.

Im somewhat surprised at how many fans pulled so many positives away from that game. I understand being happy with the D, but giving the game away after they kept us in it is absolutely crushing to me.

Im just not a fan of those type of victories where you still lose in the end.

A loss is a loss, no one is happy with it.

It's hard to win in the NFL, it's real hard to go 8-0. This game was far from an embarrassment though. It was probably the best game of 2019. We were out manned and guys kept fall all game YET we still took it down to a last sec FG in OT. We had our chances to win and we had some calls not go our way (I'm still heated about that Mosert first down). We didn't play our best and still should have won.

This team is bringing it every week regardless of who's asked to step up. There were faults (WRs/OT) but that could be said for just about every team. I think they will come in ready to show people what's what vs AZ.

Case in point - 10-1 Niners beat the 10-1 Giants on Monday night in 1990. Didn't make a lick of difference in the playoffs.

Just gotta get to the playoffs. Anything can happen then.

I know, I know.

I just wanted to win THIS GAME so bad.

The tide just hasn't turned that far in our favor, yet.

Far enough so that we can handily beat the Seahawks and still compete for the postseason.

Im not fatalist about the team or season, just about this game.

I expected a split with the seahawks, now we just have to go there and beat them.
Love the coin toss controversy, more fuel for our team to hate Seattle more, and to win.
Man, that was reminiscent of Niner-'Hawk games early in the Harbaugh era. Some good and bad to take away from it:

Bad:

- Neither Staley nor McGlinchey could keep Clowney away from Jimmy. I'm wondering if Skule & Brunskill could've done a better job.
- Jimmy was skittish at times...in a way, it's understandable with Clowney steadily in his face. Still, he needs to protect the ball a lot better. Or throw it away.
- Bourne's drops hurt. He did make some nice catches, too, but the misses hurt, especially after Sanders was out for the game.
- Pettis had a couple of chances to make some big plays...came up short. He's going to have to step up, particularly if Sanders is out for any length of time.

Good:

- Team showed heart after falling behind 21-10, especially the defense. They won't quit...no matter what the offense does or doesn't do.
- K McLaughlin...kid nailed 3 of 4 attempts. It's too bad he muffed the game-winner, but to be fair, he'd never been under that kind of pressure, either.
- For the most part, the team went toe-to-toe with the 'Hawks, arguably the most physical team in the league. In the end, the difference was Wilson...he's going to be the league MVP and he showed why. Despite his efforts, we still could've won the game. That bodes well for the future.
Shoot...can't leave Deebo out on the good column. He was great last night. Showed excellent hands and the kind of toughness we need more of in the WR corps. Bourne & Pettis need to take good notice.

Not sure on the excellent hands part. He dropped a perfectly placed one that would've been a huge gain and bobbled a slant play. Toughness no question. I guess you could say excellent compared to the rest of our garbage WR core
How is it that the NFL cant just make its own ceremonial coins for each matchup? Niner logo on one side, Seahawks logo on the other. Nobody calls it. The fact that there have been multiple coin toss controversies is ridiculous.

Oh yes it does alright especially when we didn't have to lose the game.

Listen, we lost to a 29th ranked passing D.

And as the 2nd ranked rush O, we couldn't run the ball.

Our O-line was getting destroyed all night until Jimmy G started seeing ghosts.

In the end, it was the offensive genius head coach who lost his composure which sealed the fate of the team to lose a game against its rival on home turf.

Not embarrassed you say? You should talk to some of the 9ers fans who were at Levi's. The overwhelming report was it was absolutely brutal from the Seahawks fans. It was yet another massive loss of face, not unlike when the team was under Harbaugh really.

And I dare not watch TV for a while. It is a combination of pure embarrassment, frustration, disappointment, pain and anger.

Staley...

God PFF's grades are atrocious with OL grading.

Yea, Joe Staley should have been fxxking minus man!! LOL.

Yeah I don't get that grade, maybe because MNF pointed out a couple plays Joe got burnt on and that's what we're all focusing on but I don't know. I'd have to watch it all over again and really focus on Joe.
f**k PFF. Joe was getting beat like a god damn drum. I know you have to give them real game time snaps to get them back but man I actually wish we had brunskill and Skule out there last night.

Yep, same here. Listen guys, we have a serious O-line issue and it didn't just start this game. Both Staley and McGlinchey have been weak sauce for a while.

You can't expect Jimmy G to be at the top of his game when the protection is non-existent.

We need physical WRs period. Don't know why we think we can get away with a lack of physicality in this division. Kittle is physical and that's why he rules
