Quick question for the mods..what is Seattle "Toots"!?

I just visited the seahawks site and they pointed out how immature our fanbase is because of this naming convention. They actually give us respect as their gameday thread says "San Francisco 49ers". Maybe we can change it and seem more professional?

Just my two cents.

I prefer Cheathawks to Toots, much more historical significance.

For some reason they are obsessed with calling us Santa Clara, which they somehow perceive to be some sort of insult.

lol seriously? That's like calling the Jets/Giants Jersey Jets Jersey Giants…no one cares.

No BS about it. The Ravens look like the favorites to come out of the AFC right now. Saints currently look like the best team in the NFC. There's no legitimate case to make that the 49ers are better than the Saints right now other than the difference in one loss, but the Saints have played a significantly harder schedule and have had to do a lot of it with their backup QB.

What if I told you that football comes down to matchups. Not who has the most impressive win or record. We match up pretty well Vs the Saints we have a very good pass defense due to our ability to get a pass rush on pocket passers. But your thinking is our defense is bad cause the second half of a short week game when the players legs were jello.

dont feed the clowns, he loves this s**t. dude truly believes that our d is garbage because of the thursday short rest game on the road playing a system and qb they never seen before lol

What do u feed a clown anyway? Children?

kittleskittle aint a monster like that, hes more of a sit on the computer enjoying getting folks in here worked up while eating ham and cheese hot pockets

Forming long term opinions based upon recency bias just screams newbie.

if you think bellichick wont be ready for that GA tech offense next time around you have another thing coming. Crazy how they beat the pats now all of a sudden theyre the favorites in the AFC. They cant even beat KC with that s**t d of theirs yet you got jokers putting them over KC let alone NE

I said it in the game day forum but I truly think Belichick used a vanilla defense to defend the Ravens so if they face them in the playoffs they won't know how Bill plans to stop Lamar.

this, bellichick is a genius. He's a guy that will take an L in the season against a team he thinks they can see in the playoffs and let that team read their press clippings and boom hit them hard in the mouth in january. He knows exactly what hes doing

It's not entirely because of that one game. The game was more about a team finally being able to zero in on the flaws our defense has shown all year, notably our complete inability to defend against the run and screen passes. We've benefitted a lot from going against bad QBs (we've yet to play a statistically top 15 QB all year).

Yeah pretty much what I was thinking. If we can beat Seattle without Kittle, I'm not even sure how to put into words how huge that would be. He is our 3rd down bread and butter.

I don't care. I'm just going off of how the defense looks. And it look faster and getting pressure regardless of the o line. So you can keep looking for problems with this team cause that's all you f**king do. But I'm going to just enjoy how dominant this f**king team is. And we are only going to be getting better.

I wouldn't put it past him...but he sure did look agitated by the way the game was going every time the camera was on him.
