at least our new guy is more than respectable. did a good job filling in as a chargers kicker.. you sound like me. stop it. this guy will be a good fill in i think. if not, then i will b***h and yell but nothing can be done about it now.

That's okay. Let's go Madden style and go for it on all 4th downs in FG range.

we have a good defense and our offense on third down has proven to be trustworthy so why not. but the stats you showed in his time as a charger leads me to believe we will be ok with this guy for however long robbie is out

34-28 49ers.

But why? Their OL is not very good. We should win the battle of the trenches pretty handily. I see 30+ points no matter what, but not because we can't stop them. I'm predicting at least 1 defensive TD, making a 24-20 game into a 31-20 game.

RW doesn't need an oline. I'm only kind of joking.

R u serious????? Use a small sample size on a short week, rather than a half season of complete dominance. Gtfo

I stated this in the Jimmy G thread - we will need an Arizona type performance from him. Seattle will put up points. High 20s, maybe even 30s. Seattle's run defense is better than their pass defense, and Carrol will have the defense keying in on the run and stacking the box. Jimmy will have to make throws, and he will. He'll have a big game and this huge stage. Jimmy will go heads up against the best QB he's faced in his career.

I don't foresee our backs getting 250 and 4 TDs this game. I also don't foresee us shutting down Wilson, Carson, Lockette and co. They will put up points. Wilson will pick on E-Man. Jimmy will need to step up.

Let's do this: Jimmy, Kittle, Emmanuel, Deebo will all come thru for us

I agree. I think we need to score at least 30 to win, maybe higher. This game could be similar to the Rams/Chiefs game from last year. Neither defense is very good, but both offenses are able to put up points. Jimmy is going to have to be elite.

Watch the 2nd half of the Arizona game and tell me we have a good defense.

One game on a short week, on the road against a divisional opponent. Lets just throw out the entire body of work that the d has put out on the field this season and focus on one half of the last game played.

Murray was the first good QB we've faced and he tore us up. Yea, I agree that one game is a small sample size, but so is 7 games when compared against the previous 2 seasons of bad defense. It should only be expected that the defense would revert to its previous form once we started playing better offenses. Luckily, Jimmy seems to be regaining his form from 2017.

"Tore us up" ?????

If the run game is there I see no reason not to.

The defense was ranked somewhere in the middle of the pack last season and that was without our 2 newly acquired edge rushers.

this defense needs to show me something against the run. Saleh has to adjust with the front he uses. I hope they figure out an answer for Wilson.

I still feel like Dee Ford is so fast he'd be the one most primed to hone in on Wilson (or any running QB)

defense HAS to finish

I agree - the run defense has to be better or the midget is going to RPO us all day.

Wilson isn't the one we should be worrying about in the run. Chris Carson is a beast and runs as hard as Marshawn Lynch. Without a running back like that, SEA is horrible.

1. Gear up for a serious battle with Carson.
2. Do not allow anything behind the DBs.

Wilson can run around all day for all I care, just do not let them pound us. This and force them to throw underneath. Eventually, we will get turnovers.

Yeah, agree - Carson could be as big a problem as Wilson.

Not as good but he's pretty close to Beast Mode.

Carson likes to cough up the ball. This season he has 5 fumbles, 4 of them lost.

I think it's fair to question it. It was the Niners first test against a truly mobile QB. They can either exacerbate or put to rest any doubts about their ability to shut down mobile QBs on Monday.

Ya lets use the AZ game as an example, how about the game before.

Why are you here? You and your negative Nancy crap is getting really old.

What if Isabella doesn't get that big play? How do the numbers pan out?

I think ARI only gets 124 total passing yards if that play doesn't happen. That is pretty damn good. If we are up two scores on any team, I hope the opponent makes a goal to run for 200 and make the game shorter.

Hes implying we dont have a good defense, u think that's fair? Because last time i checked our d is an absolute powerhouse, and 1 off night on a short week doesn't change that. As Sherman said, I like the fact they got humbled. They r gonna be hungry Monday night. I'm not saying russ won't make plays, because he will, but they will make it extremely difficult for the midget.
