Get ready for Wishnowsky. He'll become the first triple threat kicker in history, top graded in FG's, punts inside the 20 and as a ST gunner.

I stated this in the Jimmy G thread - we will need an Arizona type performance from him. Seattle will put up points. High 20s, maybe even 30s. Seattle's run defense is better than their pass defense, and Carrol will have the defense keying in on the run and stacking the box. Jimmy will have to make throws, and he will. He'll have a big game and this huge stage. Jimmy will go heads up against the best QB he's faced in his career.

I don't foresee our backs getting 250 and 4 TDs this game. I also don't foresee us shutting down Wilson, Carson, Lockette and co. They will put up points. Wilson will pick on E-Man. Jimmy will need to step up.

Let's do this: Jimmy, Kittle, Emmanuel, Deebo will all come thru for us

I agree. I think we need to score at least 30 to win, maybe higher. This game could be similar to the Rams/Chiefs game from last year. Neither defense is very good, but both offenses are able to put up points. Jimmy is going to have to be elite.

Watch the 2nd half of the Arizona game and tell me we have a good defense.

One game on a short week, on the road against a divisional opponent. Lets just throw out the entire body of work that the d has put out on the field this season and focus on one half of the last game played.

Lol, that's a bit harsh.

Russ after the game...

That thing isn't even worth responding to
We won't need him. We won't need FGs we are getting TDs

1-4 from 40-49, 1-1 from 50+, 2-2 from 20-19, and 2-2 from 30-39.

Man, Shanny better put up a bunch of points and the D needs to play top 3 defense. I'd hate for things to come down to a FG from the guy who just got there. I'm not too confident in him.

Wishnowsky can kick FG's? I didn't know that.
Career Stats:
The Good - XP% 100.0
The Bad - FG% 66.7

Although it not highly probable, it would be nice if the team plays
the type of game where he's only need for PAT's, and not FG's.

That's okay. Let's go Madden style and go for it on all 4th downs in FG range.

No, but a guy can "Wish" right?
Time to ice the kicker

Murray was the first good QB we've faced and he tore us up. Yea, I agree that one game is a small sample size, but so is 7 games when compared against the previous 2 seasons of bad defense. It should only be expected that the defense would revert to its previous form once we started playing better offenses. Luckily, Jimmy seems to be regaining his form from 2017.
All three of McLaughlin's misses were beyond 40 yards.

We know what we need to do.
