After seeing what Kyler Murray did, I'm worried about Russell Wilson who is a better version of Kyler Murray.

Seattle is 27th in the league vs the pass. They have no pass rush and their secondary isn't good. Seattle should have lost about 3 more games this yr. imo they're aren't even close to as good as their record indicates.
I wouldn't be shocked if TB beat them this week.
Let's go Bucs![]()
I have no faith in Winston. That dude is a turnover machine
Oh he's gonna turn the ball over no doubt. He's gonna put up points though. Bruce has success vs Pete back in his AZ days if I remember correctly

We will have to balance pressuring Russell vs containing him. Then we'll have to deal with the threat of having two RBs in the backfield between him and the RB. Then we'll have to stay with receivers as plays get extended. Tough job for the defense but we've got 10 days to scheme it up.
They won't have an easy time stopping us either

What murray did? Dude had two good drives and a b******t 88 yard td. He was stagnant most of the game.
Wilson hasn't been running it like he did earlier in his career. He moves around to extend plays not to run upfield for the most part. Murray is a little squirrel that has 4.4 speed.

The cheathawks might be more concerned about our offense than the other way around.

The Seahawks are good. No doubt about that. But, they are not the dominant Seahawks of the past. Marshawn Lynch is no longer there. They still have a decent rushing attack (9th in the NFL). But is it the dominant rushing attack it once was? No.
Same is true with Wilson's game. He's been very good. averaging about 253 yards per game. That's good enough for 13th in the league. Good? No doubt. Dominant? Not a chance. The fact that they grabbed Josh Gordon should indicate the kind of problems they're having in that department. NO OTHER TEAM attempted to sign Gordon, and for a good reason. Injuries and drug abuse have made him a pedestrian receiver at best. He is not the Josh Gordon who tore up the field in Cleveland. Not even close.
Do you remember what All Done Smith looked like with the Raiders after he wore about his welcome in San Francisco? Did you see what years of alcohol abuse had done to his body? He was a mere shell of what he had been. The same is true with Gordon. The game of football is more than enough abuse for any body in one lifetime. Adding in drugs just diminishes what had once been elite skills.
What's really killing Seattle this year is the defense. They are ranked 23rd. They are allowing an average of 376 yards per game. They are a little better with the run defense, but are positively getting torched by opponents through the passing game. They have no pass rush. If Pete Carroll stacks the box and dares Jimmy G. to pass the ball, you will witness a 400-yard effort out our QB or very close to it.
Can the Bucs beat the Seahawks. Yes, but only if Winston doesn't perform like the turnover machine he's shown himself to be, especially on the road.

I bought tickets and will be there with my girl screaming our heads off to help have an actual home field advantage!

I'm guessing a lot of what KS does offensively is not only to setup the following plays and series' but also to setup the following weeks.
The SEA defense is good but I think we will keep them completely off balance and I expect to put up 28-35 points.
You gotta be right. Kyle figured we didn't need it in AZ, but we will against SEA.
+1
I bet Shanahan thought to keep it simple against AZ because of the short week and because he knew that AZ would come all out to stop the run having bought into the "Jimmy G can't beat you" erroneous hype. Kyle probably planned for this game to be Jimmy's coming out party this season.
The running game will be clicking against seattle and now they have to be wary of not only the Niners running game but also their passing attack.
Niners should score at least 30
Sea scores between 17 and 23

I didn't think it was that loud in there. About half the crowd was comprised of 49ers fans.

I'm not impressed 1 bit with Murray, all he did was dink and dunk all damn game with the occasional run. That fluke ass Isabella td made his numbers look decent, I'm not worried at all with the d having a short week to prepare for a qb and an offense they never seen. I don't understand the love affair with MurrayOriginally posted by NYniner85:Originally posted by goldlame2013:After seeing what Kyler Murray did, I'm worried about Russell Wilson who is a better version of Kyler Murray.

Seattle will look to run early on. Saleh will adjust to this. Seattle will counter with Wilson scrambling and extending plays. The onus will be on our defenders staying with Seattle's eligibles. When plays break down, they have to follow a reciever instead of still playing zone and defending grass.
Offensively, we got this with Staley, Glinch, and Juice coming back. I expect several explosive runs. Play action will be effective as usual.
Niners win 41-20.

I was wondering the same thing about all the motion. I couldn't believe we weren't trying to use more trickery. And I know KS is a genius, but I find it hard to believe he was planning on Jimmy to have to convert that many 3rd down plays; especially when the game got close!! I know we all had confidence that we could beat Arizona, but the game ended up being way closer than anticipated. Arizona was stacking the box all game long. Jimmy made them pay, but I don't know what KS was seeing that made him call the game the way he did. I can't imagine in the heat of the game he was thinking, "I can't use these plays cause i need them against Seattle next week." If he does have that much confidence in Jimmy though, that could mean big things for this offense.

Same here...I'm expecting an ass whooping in a couple weeks at home.
FWIW I'll be at that game....first time at Levi
