Seattle has to be licking their chops knowing that our 3rd down chain mover will be in street clothes.

This is not good at all. I hope you guys are right though!

I don't see how it's different at all.

All Kittle has to do is be delegated to certain packages. Don't put him out in run blocking.

Sanders has become a 3rd down chain mover just as much.

Dude, he is not really playing very good at all.

Yes he is

No he's not. Especially not for the price they paid.

Yes he is

We must share a different definition of good homeslice, I've watched all of their games so far and I'd be supremely pissed if we had given what they have for him and hed produced like he has this year. Don't be hysterical.

Two depth players and a third round pick and he's playing like a top 20 linemen this year

Yep two sacks, a couple of fumbles, and an interception thrown right into his gut. Like I said, he's not having a good year. I don't know where you're getting top 20, but even that isn't impressive. Like I said, I've watched their games out of boredom, he hasn't looked as good as he did on the Texans.

Cause box scores don't tell the whole story. The fact you think the Seahawks gave up a lot for Clowney is just hating. They got a steal. Unless you think Mingo was gonna produce the same as Clowney.

What part of I have watched all of their games this year do you not comprehend? They gave up guys who probably would've produced just as good plus a draft pick. That you think he's playing anything better than meh, is hilarious. They wanted a pass rusher, and got a run stopper, at best. Two sacks after nine games isn't getting it done, if it were someone on our team under performing like that, you'd be yelling "bust!".

I mean you could throw in the $15.6M cap hit this yr as well. He's not playing up to that money.

It was a gamble and I don't think he's playing to what Seattle and it's fans were hoping for.

Lol 2 sacks shows my exact point. So with your incredible in depth knowledge you'd say Nick Bosa had a bad game Vs the Cardinals. I dont care if you have watched every Seahawk game. It's clear you don't know what you are watching.

Your mister PFF I think 84.5 is damn near elite.
49ers hawks game is apparently tracking to h ave the largest amount of distributed for a Niners game ever at Levi's stadium in it's short history.

wouldnt Seattle be used to a loud stadium though?

That's more because of his run defense. He's the 24th ranked edge defender when you're talking about his pass rush grade. I wouldn't call 24th elite. He doesn't blow or anything.

He's also 8th in the league in pass rush attempts, while sacks/QB hits aren't everything you'd expect more than 2 sacks and 7 QB hits with almost 300 pass rush attempts.

I thought the Arizona Cardinals O-line was supposed to be bad too? Division games are tough!

Our guys just need to be assignment sound on Monday, treat the Seahawks like they are the best team in the league in regards to preparing to face them on the field.

So he has a lot of attempts and still has a positive grade. And I was also pointing out how stupid it is to say the Seahawks gave up too much. "Omg Bakarvious Mingo, a 3rd rounder and some extremely forgettable name." So you can add in the OMG salary cap hit this year which they seem to be handling just fine so yes Clowney has been worth it. For what they gave up he had been elite. But will never live up to his pre draft hype

I mean their OL isn't good, whenever kyle actually stayed in the pocket they got pressure on him. It was screens that killed SF.

I mean Shaq Lawson has a "positive grade" when you talking about pass rush grades.

Clowney was brought in to hit the qb and he's been avg at it so far. They took a gamble (and ate that money) hoping he'd replace Frank Clark and that's just not the case. They gave Ziggy $9M and he's basically a ghost.

Outside of the cap hit I don't think they gave up much, I agree with that.

I will disagree they're just fine in regards to pass rush...they spent almost $25M on two guys and they're damn near the bottom of the league in pressure rate (31st).

Wilson is single-handedly making Seattle look much better than they really are. Average skill players and a mediocre defense.

Wilson is going to make some plays Monday, but it won't be enough.

And they aren't in a bad spot with their salary cap so they didn't give up much.
