I get that we are better than last year, but if we want to get to the playoffs, we need to have pretty wins, not ugly ones against backup QBs.

You get the win regardless. It's a week to week thing. Week one we can't run the ball worth a crap and score two defensive touchdowns. Week two was complete domination on both sides of the ball. Week three we have adversity that could have buried us and win. Games aren't played on paper because a team has its backup quarterback so we're going to cruise. That's a team that is used to winning over there and wanted one badly and we shot ourselves in the foot the entire first half and again in the 4th quarter when it looked like we were going to lose and came back and won.

It's hard for some people to be happy I guess.

Good teams can sometimes hurt themselves, but they also overcome those mistakes. This team is good. Need to do a lot better to be great - and the defense may be really great - but they are good.

What many don't realize is this is the kind of s**t good teams do. They can play like trash and still win. Thankfully we have a bye to heal and get this stuff cleaned up.

This game was about answers. Every time the offense turned it over, the defense answered with damage control. When the defense gave up a big TD, the offense answered with good drives. It was not pretty but this type of win builds character. Great win for a young team.
