Greenlaw may find out that being the #1 LB is a lot different than being #2. He gets injured a lot and he's going to get even more contact as the top dog. All players want more money but many find out they were a lot better in support than they are as the featured guy.
The writing was on the wall already when them WAGs had the go away party as soon as the season ended lol...

Yes! He will soon find out that being Fred Warner is harder than it looks

Similar to how Trent Williams can make the guard next to him look better.
The fact it appears they really tried hard to keep Greenlaw has me concerned about Winters / Bethune. Feel all the optimistic talk of those two might be damage control. This team sure has a knack for drafting lbs hopefully we see one we like. Winters seems to small for run defense and Bethune is a 300lb 7th round pick

I think the team really likes Curtis Robinson. He was on track to get more play than those two before his injury, great locker room/team guy (WP Man of the Year) and ST star. If he's healthy he could be in the mix to start.

I expect the kid from TCU to lead the team in tackles..

I hope you are correct 9moon. He's fun to watch.
Love Dre, but this is why you don't pay him

Sheesh. This is a bummer. Love Dre, hopefully he makes a quick recovery
Not good, torn quad. Pretty much Drake Jackson's injury
Dodged a bullet not giving him an extension
That's a bummer. Love him as a player.

Imagine the rage and despair here if we had extended him and we got this news right after the Mustapha news yesterday.
The people who called it a total fail by our front office not re-signing him would be going on now about how much of a fail it was re-signing him and they knew he'd get injured again.
Wow they got lucky. But that's why I didn't want to pay him a ton. Looks like he's done. Love the kid too. Best of luck.
