The only thing I want out of Nick Bosa, other than a lot of sacks and stellar plays during MULTIPLE playoff games, is to finish the year HEALTHY.

Absolutely agree about the Health issue. He will be a monster. I'd like the 49ers to draft/get another monster to pair up with him. Arden is developing into a monster, but I want another monster like Nick that can rush outside as well as inside - easier said than done of course, and we don't have a first round first pick that can get you those kinds of players this year. A first round pick for a Jimmy trade might get us the kind of draft capital to get us another monster like Nick, but I doubt it. Nick is a player we can't ever let go of or even dare let test the free agency market.

I'd rather draft the best CB we can. I'm pleased with the D line currently, and want us to have studs at every level on D. We have em at D line and LB, a shutdown corner would possibly make this the best defense in the league.

I agree. If there are 1-2 players the 49ers need to sign to long-term deals, my vote is for Bosa and Deebo.

We won't be able to sign everyone to long-term deals. There are some we will have to part ways with because we simply don't have the cap space for them.

It also means that Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch have nailed draft after draft after draft, especially those late-round picks.

Yeah without checking film it seemed like he made a bunch of plays typically in the first 3 quarters. Then the other team decides to double or triple team him and someone makes the play in the 4th, whether its a LB on a blitz or armstead/Key. That shouldnt take anything away from him because occupying 2-3 guys while still collapsing the pocket is huge... but AP only cares about the last second of a play, not anything that came before that. For example that one play against the rams where he slants and takes up 3 linemans attention, but without knowing what he was doing it looked like he took an angle and got pushed to the ground... But that freed up (cant remember who) to have a straight line to the QB.

Agree, I want Jimmy to stay at QB 1, until Trey is really ready, but if Jimmy stays and we lose Bosa and Deebo, I'm a negative on that one. Love to have a cornerback - like Eric Wright/Eric Davis to pair up with Ambry, K'won and Emanuel. That will solidify the position if we'd get a talent like that.

Assuming we go all the way (and that's a huge assumption there) this team will lose a lot of it's one year contract free agents, because teams will out bid us for most of them. Example, Arden Key, I'm certain there will be bottom feeding teams probably overpaying to get him. (Seadderal is one team that comes to my mind) That's just one example. We have a ton of one year free agents on the team who's contracts are expiring after this season. For that reason, ShanaLynch will be in rebuilding mode next year if this team goes all the way and they will need to hit on their day 3 picks yet again.

Agree. I think those run of the mill sacks that he got a ton of (plus being triple covered), don't make the youtube highlight reels and hence nobody knows about them.

Yes they can't sign everyone, but, they can keep Nick, Deebo, Aiyuk long term, once Jimmy is gone, it'll open future cap room that he or someone like him would make each year, having Trey on a rookie deal helps big time. Plus by 2024 the cap will explode. Just hope they keep Key, DJ, Laken, & K'Waun.

We really can't afford to keep Jimmy, the cap isn't going up much in 2022, they need his cap space to keep guys like K'Waun, Laken, DJ, Key, extend Deebo, & Nick. What I see the 49ers doing is giving Jimmy the ability to shop his services to wherever he wants to go to, shows a lot to players IMO.

The East Coast elites who snubbed him will look like the idiots they are. He will kick their doors down and demand respect when their glamor boys are eating dirt.
