I hope he gets it done before that. I don't care how good people think he is, he still needs time in camp.

He is probably trying to get a bigger signing bonus or whatever, he is going to do his job and the front office will do theirs. It is what it is.

I can't think of nothing better than an often injured player missing a meaningless training camp in which he will risk injury day in and day out in thud and non contact football drills. The scheme stuff shouldn't be that hard to pick up for a guy like Bosa, these days training camps IMO are high risk low reward (See Jerick McKinnon).

Just get him signed about a week before the season starts...

Good post. I wouldn't risk it though. Better to sign him during the bye week before the Super Bowl. That way they are guaranteed he plays at least a snap in an actual meaningful game.

Nah, too risky. Would be better to sign him right before his HOF induction speech. That way he's guaranteed to not re injure his hammy, which would prevent him from walking on to the stage on his own.

Ikr, posters acting like he's above all that. lol
Jalen Hurd's agent says the way the Niners have all these team friendly contracts is b******t. Oh I'm sure it has nothing to do with he's not getting as big of a percentage as he could otherwise so he's all butt hurt. What a p***y.

It's only "team friendly" if they suck lol. If the players plays to the level they should then he get's paid accordingly...also SF gives players a good chunk of their guaranteed cash up front (or in the 1st two yrs) players love that.

Horrible take on the agent and PFT imo.

Also, Paraag makes it "active game bonus" meaning if you aren't active for a game, your game you get that bonus deduced

Right. The team-friendly portion is usually lower guaranteed money, annual ripcords, and lower APY after 2-3 years. The player-friendly part is front loaded money during the first couple years ensuring the team retains them no matter what.

And if the player stays healthy and balls out? They get the full contract.

This agent and others are just pissed PM is a better negotiator than them. If he doesn't like it then win the negotiation.
Heard he had a nice try reaching for the contract papers across the table with those short arms today. Was exhausted and went home.

Gonna try for another attempt tomorrow. Good luck Nick.

Oh yea, talk to NFL players and tell me what you come away with.

Yup! Players always want that money upfront and SF has always been about that...I have no idea what this jabroni agent is crying about. What does he want fully guaranteed contracts? Please, not gonna happen unless there 2 yr deals (which are basically what SF offers).... jimmy G got a f**k ton of money upfront, for not a lot of production. He doesn't play well after this yr ya damn right SF should have a rip cord in place.

Dude is complaining about SF being able to make a decision in April vs March on when the cash is guaranteed for that season lol. I mean It's called negotiations, they want March instead of April, then maybe you don't get as much front loaded in the contract ...if your client plays to his potential, it's not gonna be a problem he will get paid anyway.

Even though I support the players' efforts to get the maximum amount of money they can make, I do think the NFL owners should ban those CAA a*****es.

College prospects should be warned they won't be drafted by any team if they're represented by CAA.

No sympathy for scumbag Harvey Weinstein's accomplices.

Totally agreed.

I'm not sure on the details but is the argument about FA vs. Draft times? Meaning, if it was March the client could be released and go on the FA market whereby in April, the draft has happened so the team then can decide to cut the player and teams rosters are more set and the player can no longer be a big player in FA???
