I looked up tendonitis and hiw serious it can be and it says its not a medical emergency but can be a longterm issue if you try to to play through the pain and put stress on the joints. So basically you should be fine aslong as you don't try to play through it. Put him in bubble wrap until week 1. He doesn't need training camp.i feel the same way about cmc.

He missed a chunk of the season due to bilateral Achilles tendinitis…much scarier issue.
In the end we'll see what happens, I'd rather it be a contract situation but I wonder if they sent Nick to Germany for that CMC stem cell treatment.

Mild tendonitis can worsen very easily . Especiallly with repeated movements and also due to the low blood flow to the tendons .
the original post about resting him is the safest route to have him late into the season .

Bosa mentioned having quad tendonitis from his original HS surgery that the doc cleaned up so I'm assuming it's not that one, but then that leaves hamstring, calf or patellar tendonitis? Kees and shoulders are complex as hell. I don't think they can do anything but rest him.

I'd prefer they ease him back slowly like a lot of us were thinking they would do... probably overtraining / practiced too hard too soon

Would have taken a 77m cap hit. On the plus side though this regime has done exceptionally well in the draft.

Looks like his career is in jeopardy due to his knee issues?
He said they fixed old tendinitis issues, hope he can recover

So he isn't holding in like Cohn said? Weird a journalist would make up a story.

Agreed. That's not like Cohn. He never exaggerates or makes s**t up for clicks.

He's not a rookie so generally it's smarter to not push the recovery in training camp for vets. But with a new DC yeah, would be nice if he could participate.
