Stepping towards racism is never the right direction

Oh stop.
Well it does seem that way (from the clip with Clark/bosa)

I didn't know about Hill, until a few posts ago, but she spoke up also it looks like

Date a girl like this for 2 years?

His history doesn't give him the benefit of the doubt. And I'm not even touching other issues.

So again, he could have used a different hand gesture... but chose not to. And now unnecessary attention brought to the team.

I'm sorry but those are not proof of anything. I've liked a ton of posts without checking every single # listed on there.

Maybe I'm naive but with the way Nick talks with his black teammates and how they talk about Nick that he's not racist. I can't speak for his ex gf but I doubt he was with her for her political beliefs or social values.

And like I said…I always prefer when our players ignore the noise and concentrate on ball and good things off the field. Having said that I'm not seeing this as a racial thing. The whole 👌is just silly. You had 4chan trolls appropriate the ok sign and now you have some people thinking it's a white power symbol.

The ok(funny what comes up when you type that 👌) emoji was perfectly fine to use for what he was trying to do which was to take a shot at Clark. Nothing to do with Clark being black. Just the stuff he's said about Nick.

Having said that I hope Bosa is back week 1 and uses this season as a revenge tour to shut up a lot of haters and remind people he's still a dominant edge rusher in the NFL.

Dude I'm not gonna try to figure out Nick Bosa. I've said it before I LOVE his discipline. Wish I had his work ethic and food discipline. But besides that, the 9ers are my team, and Nick is on it currently. It's a weird thing to deal with. Especially when he continues to do little unnecessary things that brings his past back into the spot light.

He could be trolling, but it doesn't matter. Perception is reality. His history, plus his continued chosen actions... well, he brings it upon himself. I'm sure he feels he can handle it, so he challenges what he feels is not a big deal. But again, perception is reality. Media is the media.... you want all that against you. Good luck.

I'm not the one yall should really worry about...

Like "perceptions," "lived experiences" and "my truth" doesn't prove reality.
Well my ethnic group is foundational to this country and I am aware of all the new ethnic groups that have entered this country AFTER mine. I'm aware of Bosa's too and as a result I expect certain behaviors through history and learned experiences

That said I'm old enough to be Bosa's father so I simply know more than he does and as a result I don't have to care about his political leanings. I care about his football play on our football team. There are players from my own ethnic group on this team I'm sure I'll disagree with but those dudes are young men and I'm fully middle aged so that's why I try to stick to football and I wish these guys the best

They will live and learn if they're blessed to age as I have but for now let's play football!

I guess we should just turn a blind eye and act like nothing ever happened because football

I truly wish bosa the person wasn't on our team. I'm not going to say he isn't talented, he is and you want a player like that on your team but how he is as a person makes it really hard to root for him.

And before anyone says it, yes it's hard to root for rapists, abusers, etc. I'm fully aware every team has or has had their share of those things.

I root for the jersey. Players are tools to do a job.

Maybe not the funnest way to watch sports, but it makes it a lot easier to be able to separate differences in viewpoints (to put it lightly). Just don't be a criminal please.

Yeah I try not to follow players passed the stat sheets and games. More often than not you're not going to like somethings about them

I know you have to sometimes separate the artist from the art in all things. It's just hard to do sometimes :/

Thank you. ✌🏾

Love when folks show themselves. Now one less person I have to waste time with when debating 9er football, when they're probably not being geniune about said topic. Long overdue with you especially Hysterikal.

I understand that Bosa can be problematic at times but what am I supposed to do about it as a 49er fan. We've had worse in my experiences as a fan of this team. We've had actual criminal activity from players on this team.

To Bosa's credit he's mostly been quiet and what I want most from him to stay healthy and actually produce to what he's being paid. He's being paid as if he's Myles Garrett and he's not been that for us yet even though when healthy he's been great so this season I want to see that or something close to it

I don't know Bosa but our players do and if they can work with him I can root for him while he's playing for my team. This is the offseason so all this stuff matters a wee bit but once September rolls around I just won't have the time or energy to worry about it

I have dealt with what some would call "racists" all my life and the way I approach it is you keep your hands to yourself I'll keep my hands to myself and when it's time to do business I can have pork and chicken and you can bring corn beef and tomatoes and we can make a fair trade and then you go back to your community and I'll go back to mine and business is what business is

Thats the American way. In my family we never had to like our neighbors but we've defended ourselves and did deals and have prospered from it but we kept our distance and made sure our boundaries were respected

This is why I like to stick to football as pertaining to the 49ers. I can't control what guys half my age believe but I can watch my team win so I get to be a sports fan and talk hella smack to my friends and peers over Sunday football. And I wish all the players a good life because I have my own but I'm not worried what some young dude thinks of me and mine because at the end of the day it ain't a doggone thing Bosa Ryan Clark or anyone else can do about it

Social media if you let it can make you lose focus of your own life and responsibilities and I refuse to let a player or players cause me to not enjoy my own life I've worked for so let's go Niners!

This. I care for all people and want people to have the life they've earned but at the end of the day I root for my team and not individuals I really don't know because once they change jerseys I am rooting against them when they play my team as any good Niner fan should in my opinion

All we know is Clark chose to talk massive s**t about Bosa because he disagreed with his political opinions. Bosa never said a word. Now he gave it back to him cold and cool. Not a big deal to me lol

Please show that, word for word?

This bit right here:

I had no idea what the deal was when Bosa started showing up all over my feed etc so once I saw that clip from Clark, Bosa's emoji made sense.
