He'd be a nice rental this year, dude has the skill that a lot of our guys DO NOT have (availability / ability to stay healthy)

Yeah not really a fan of signing another older player with injury problems.

We have our starting DE with Mykel to set the edge and stop the run. We need some passrush specialists to come in on 3rd downs/obvious passing downs when Mykel drops inside.

Maybe we can find one in the draft? Like the polar opposite of Mykel? All passrush and not much run D that can be perfected over time?

Or we go after some journeymen DEs on prove it deal but PLEASE with no injury history.

But I'd leave him on the shelf. This ain't NBA and no Bosa has won an NFL championship so why should we be paying astronomical money when it won't bring us a chip. If you can't do a Mike Evans deal with us you can go be a mercenary somewhere else

I don't hate anyone for trying to get paid what someone is willing to pay. I sure don't do my job to help out the management and my boss.

I don't hate anyone for being a mercenary either. There is always someone dumb enough to overpay. I just don't want it to be us. Then when it comes to an employer and a job of which I am an employer, I am looking for employees that can help me make more money so I do in fact want them to help out the management and myself as boss. If you cannot help me win in terms of your production and what I am paying you for it you won't get my job. You will get someone else's. What is the point of hiring you if you can't help me do better business and this includes what you produce vs what I am paying you?

I wonder how Nick will look after the knee injury?

But the no championship is you firing the person who made a great item or sale because another employee or you destroyed it.
