but Bosa isn't elite? He may not be the best but he's up there. When the offense dictates that Bosa needs 2 blockers, I'd call that elite.

People think Sacks is all there is to determine if a DE is elite or not. Pressures are just as important and Bosa racks those up every game. He is constantly getting the QB off his spot. Not to mention how good he is vs the run. People probally thought Jackson had a great game a couple years ago when he had 3 sacks.

But he doesnt lead in any major categories including secondary ones in the past 2-3 years.

He gets paid elite money to not kinda get there but to make momentum changing plays on a regular basis. He just doesnt. He disappears.

Yesterday Etienne ran through this defense as Purdy gave them 3 extra posessions. Is Bosa a stud run stuffer......

Yes he does. He's top 5 in most categories outside of sacks, including pass rush win % and pressures.

You clearly don't read numbers well lol

So TFL and sacks he is where exactly in 2024........Lets ignore that. He is paid to make momentum changing plays not almost.

So there's only 2 major categories for DEs? Lmao.

No there isnt.

Its great he is providing a level of pressure on the QB but there is a big difference in a fotball game between almost and a highly impactful play like TFL and sacks.

Well we can see why we spent the big bucks on him. Unfortunately he is Injury prone.

He has two major injuries in his 6 year pro career. Outside of that- what makes him injury prone?

Thats a lot of time missed. I can see having 1 major injury for the 6 years, but not 2. And Injury Prone doesn't always mean someone is brittle. It sometimes just means they have bad luck with Injuries. So I don't fault the player, it just sometimes things go bad for certain players beyond their control.
Was Bosa rehabbing? Why wasn't he at this game to support like Fred. Obviously the injuries are different but hes a Captain and I'm just wondering where he was at.

I thought I read Nick was in the building recently. As far as why he wasn't out there like Fred that's another story. Fred is Fred. Part of it is different injuries to rehab and different stages of it. As much as I respect Fred for being there I would never hold it against someone for rehabbing at home. Nick's injury from timeline perspective is more serious than Fred's so he can do whatever he wants as long as it gets him back faster and similar to the last rehab where he came back with a huge season.
