Just caught wind of Beal getting back on the active roster... he is sorry and learned his lesson from being put in time out (PS). He vows to make believers in us all, and swears to break Bosa's sack record.

We won't miss a beat with Bosa sidelined now that Beal is back

Years ago, I used to mod Madden and he would come into our discord losing his marbles about his ratings.

Thibo/Chubb/Phillips/other scraps from bad teams aren't going to come in and save the season. We need someone who's at least 80% as good as Bosa and the two players I mentioned above fit the bill.

don't think Hunter is an option,... he's contracted through 2026, as you said, and the 49ers already have their 2026 Edge rushers: Bosa, Huff, Williams,

last time I read about it, they were assigning another 3 4ths and a 5th to the 9ers for next year's draft

This is the way... If we are 6-0 or 5-1 you buy. If we are 3-3 then you probably sell it all imo.

There will be plenty of money to even extend Hendrickson if you want to.

Lots of money frees up because Trent will be gone next year and mcaffrey. You could free up even more of you trade yuk.

They actually aren't in that bad of shape cap wise and you could make a big splash on one of these guys and get them long term.

There is no Hero on the horizon. Every unit onthe Defense will down grade. It was always the Offense that will decide how far in the Playoffs we go.

Not at all saying this will happen or is the best idea, but Huff's contract is so favorable we could cut him after the season with zero dead cap and save $17M. That's one way Hunter + Bosa could work in 2026. Hendrickson would be tougher since franchise tag is $36M.

Someone who is about 30-50% as good as Bosa is not going to help us. It has to be someone at least 80% as good as Bosa (Hunter or Hendrickson)
