Very true. Which is why I have explained if there is some way we can move on from him and get something good this year, it's something to consider.

With Bosa injured, it might make more sense to call up some of the contenders like the Rams, Packers, or Seahawks and see if they'll give us a mid-round pick or two for either CMC or Kittle.

No one said Bosa is not elite. But he's not helping us this year when we have a chance to win the Super Bowl sitting on the couch. So if we can swap him for a player from another team that is just as elite this year, why not do it? Maybe the other player wants to chase a ring with the 49ers or wants a change of environment. Bosa protected his interests when he held out. The 49ers organization also has a right to protect its interests now too.
