It's his third ACL tear but only the second to the same knee. Stop acting like it's three to one knee and his knee is toast. You're being dramatic and making it seem worse just to cry.

That means everything is messed up

I took it to mean that it's uncomplicated. In theory it would make the surgery and the recovery more straightforward.

I'm not sugar coating anything. I'm just not running around crying like a little b***h about it.

He'll rehab and he'll be 29 next season. He's a rather formidable athlete so he has as good of a chance to come back from it as anyone. The fact that no other damage was done to the knee aside from the ACL is better than what happened to Aiyuk, for instance.

Who's crying about it? You sound angry. It's conversation not crying.

If there was a similar player to Bosa on a noncontending team why is it so crazy that we swap the players so both teams can try something new? And maybe the team is willing to help their current player chase a ring on the 49ers.

What players on other teams do you see having similar value to Bosa?

I have enjoyed watching Bosa on our team but sometimes it's time to move on from a player and make a major move.

Myles Garrett. But he's made it VERY clear that he is all about the money, and doesn't care one bit about winning.

We are a non-contending team after the Bosa injury. It's more likely that the contending teams will be calling us to see if we want to trade our players.

Even after the Bosa injury, Vegas has us as a Top 7 team to win the Super Bowl. We added depth to our defense in the offseason which helps offset the loss and now all of our offense is returning. After Bosa got injured, Vegas only dropped us to being favored 3.5 points over JAX this weekend as compared to 4.5. So Vegas does not really see this as hurting our chances. But let's go out there and swap for a player like Micah Parsons to replace Bosa but also try something new.

Well if that team would want Bosa on their team next year, then maybe do a clean swap. I hate to see Nick go but I want a ring this year and we have the schedule to get it done.
The thing Bosa has going for him is a HOF work ethic and professionalism. Based on how he worked his way back to the field I do believe he will come back strong just as he did last time. Injuries are a part of the game

That's not an even swap. Myles Garrett is objectively better and healthy. Niners would have to give up more than just Bosa.
No way to sugarcoat it, pretty much sucks for all concerned, especially Bosa who seemed like he was primed to have a good year. I would like to see them bring Trevis Gibson up from the practice squad. He flashed some during preseason. Certainly more than Beal.

True. Then the 49ers may just have to throw in a bit more.
These are some of the reasons why I think it's smart to go all in this year:

Kittle and CMC not getting any younger.
One of the easiest schedules.
3-0 start with 2 wins in division. Currently first in division and #1 seed overall in NFC.
Homefield advantage in Super Bowl in Santa Clara.
