I'm amazed that the thumbs down thing is being criticized. We don't even know what he was signaling and who he was signaling to.
He could have been indicating that it wasn't too serious. He could have been indicating that it was bad enough that he wouldn't return to the game. Maybe he was saying it was potentially really bad. In any case it certainly wasn't some inappropriate action.

Why?

Yeah you would think he was flipping fans off in the crowd or something.

I don't see this at all. Completely unjustified comment

For real.
I don't think people realize how important this is. If he's out 3-4 or heck even 10 games that's one thing. But out for the season means no Super Bowl—this team simply can't win 3-4 playoff games in a row without him playing any of them.

You would think he was Emporer Commodus giving the thumbs down in the gladiator ring.

Why?
He's probably a lefty and hates whatever Bosa does.

do some fans really think Bosa was signaling to random fans in the stands with the thumbs down? Come on, use some common sense.
he was probably signaling to his Mother/Father and/or Girlfriend/friends who always come and see him.
Why this is a problem to some is weird to me.
I just hope he is okay and it isn't too serious of an injury. If we want to make real noise in the playoffs, going to need him.

Have you met this fanbase? We're not the most rational people around. If there is something to get upset about, we will find a way.

I'm waiting for the Webzone doctors to give their full medical evaluation. It's always a good spread between voodoo magic and detailed orthopedic analysis.

Wasn't he just signaling to Lynch in the press box that he wasn't ok? I don't understand the confusion. He obviously had to leave the game.
