After my initial tweet, Shanahan clarified that the initial testing on the sideline did not "definitively" point to a serious ACL injury, but it hasn't been ruled out.

"We're not sure," Shanahan said. "There is concern because of how he feels." https://t.co/n1VDsgntfV

ACL's is more of a left to right movement. You can walk normally with a torn one

He wasn't walking around when he tore it before

Hoping & praying it's just a knee sprain like what happened to Mac Jones in preseason, I think they can get by with Mykel, Huff, YGM, Sam O for a few weeks, I don't see them making a desperate trade for a big name, I know MIA is 0-3, but depending on what they may want for Chubb & his salary I just don't know if that happens, but that's 1 name I saw fans speculate about.
yeah, idk who exactly would be available but I wouldn't find getting some solid. Huff is great as a role player but idk how he will do as an every down D lineman. He didn't seem bad today though - just that he got gassed as the game went on lol which is understandable.

Are you serious? Like he won't play if he's able but it may hurt?

Uh I don't think you can really walk normally on a torn ACL, my brother had it and his knee buckled on him, he couldn't walk normal or really at all, so no you can't walk on a freshly torn ACL.

Just checked Chubb's deal, way too much money left, over $16.2M this year, they only have $24M, they'd be down to just $7.8M if they did a deal for Chubb, plus they're about $35.319M under a projected $305M cap in 2026, he's owed $19.26M, between 2025 & 2026 cap hits, they'd go from a potential $60M in cap room for 2025 to just under $24M in cap room next year, 2027 is the year they need to carryover salary into since they're tight against the projected $335M cap for 2027.
Trade and sign! lol tell chub to redo his deal and take a paycut (or have miami pay a bunch of it). lol that's way too much money though. i think if we do some sort of trade, i can see it being with the Jets cause saleh probably has guys all over that dline that he really likes and belives can be good in his defense.

AI Overview
Yes, it is possible to walk normally with a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). However, walking may be accompanied by some limitations and precautions

You can't really walk normal on a torn ACL, as I just said my brother tore his and his knee buckled on him, gave out on him, he needed to wear a brace for the rest of his life, as that's how bad a torn ACL can be, the only way to walk on it after tearing it is if you still have adrenaline going, but once torn your knee will give out and buckle.

If they had a concern they wouldn't let him. It's not a matter if you can. He wouldn't have the option.

I don't buy what AI has to say, I've seen my brother have a torn ACL and his knee wouldn't hold up, buckled, it's happened to numerous athletes, pro wrestlers who have can't walk on it normally, I believe the ACL is in the middle on your knee, just saying I don't buy what AI says.
