Also gotta get Garrett.
Then find the biggest strongest DT to just clog up 2 gaps against the run.
This is mostly a joke. If they go thin depth at DT it could work scheme and cap wise. It just won't work playing time wise.

If we can get Joey for a team friendly deal. He should be able to play the big end role here and give us more flexibility in the draft.

Bosa 2x Floyd and a rookie is more than enough of a rotation to f**k s**t up imo.

I still have no faith we get Mason Graham barring a trade up

The 49ers expressed a desire to get younger and cheaper and signing Joey Bosa wouldn't address either of those needs. That said, when something lands in your lap like the opportunity to get a good player you need to adapt. The key here is if Joey Bosa is willing to take a discount to play in SF with his brother. If not, then I don't think he's a good option. We'll see. Perhaps Nick is willing to rework his deal to make room for Joey. If we signed Bosa it'd almost assure we're going tackle round 1. Which is good news all around.

I wish there was a way for us to get Abdul Carter, he's 21 years old and would be a franchise type player IMO. Getting older retreads hasn't been working for us as of late.

Another connection: Joey Bosa's second defensive coordinator with the Chargers β DC when he earned and signed his $135 million contract β was Gus Bradley, who's now Robert Saleh's top lieutenant with the 49ers

Not so sure about that anymore, teams are suckers for measurables. He was listed at around 330lbs, but weighed 296 at combine. As petty as that is, it could be enough for him to drop.
