Any confirmation on this?

That's alot when only a few plays decide alot of games.

you know what's a lot is playing outside of base personnel 73% of the time.

Then you're on the wrong website. This is the niner rampage, not the niner hater page. If you just want to hear inane, baseless niner hating, seahawks.net probably has a spot for you. If you're into posts like that previously banned poster Travis, maybe y'all could hook up on IM.

whether or not he is a former banned member does not interest me. i have had good discussion with him and they did not involve bashing the niners. i do not agree with him about his bosa statements but they are his opinion. if you want to label them inane niner hating that somehow has a connection to seattle. i guess thats fine. you do not have to be a jerk

Great stuff. This is becoming a cylcical issue around here.

1) Attack those that disageee and try to get them off the site

2) Get used to only talking with posters that agree with everything you say, and of course return the favor.

3) Get bored with #2 and feel the need to post dry jokes about Bosas arms or views over and over till you finally bait one of the posters you've already tried to run off the forum.

4) Repeat #1.

Guys...those of you that are guys at least... "Man Up" and stop being afraid of disagreement. No need for threats of fan card-snatching.

Keep in mind that 73% isint any set formation or anything. Cant directly compare "various formations" to base formations because the former is various. The Knicks only had a 25% chance to win the lottery...but still was tied with 2 others for the best chance to win.

If we're talking football....27% of a football game isint miniscule by any measure. Watch how games are decided and you'll understand why.

Amazing post. Very insightful and it reminds me I haven't posted my daily joke about Bosa's arms.

Bosa's arms are so short.
How short are they?
They are so short he only gives his teammates fives. No high fives.

All fun & games until he misses that free release punt block for the loss.

73% of those formations aren't in base, that's a fact though.

It's a reason it's been brought up a ton in regards to how a team should be built in today's game....we (and the rest of the NFL) spend more time with 5+ DBs on the field/defending passing concepts and those positions that affect the passing game matter more.

Example our starting SAM LBer had 6 snaps in nickel last yr.

Im not saying playing out of base doesn't matter or the game can't be won there, but that's not what I'm talking about when I put those numbers up.

I like how you think!

IMO, Bosa has stepped into one the best situations a blue chip ER prospect could ever step into. He has a creative head coach that likes to score points and he's playing with elite line talent along side Buck and Dee Ford. Not to mention he's had the benefit of letting his body heal for almost a year, while getting expert coaching from his brother. If he can't get 10 sacks out the gate this year, he will be a disappointment. Like RBs, ERs seem to be a kind of position that you either have it or you don't. Not saying it can't be developed and players cant evolve, but the talent should be recognizable within a few games, rookie or not.
I wouldn't get too hung up on sack numbers. Our eye test will tell us whether he is making a difference on the field. I can see plays where Bosa gets the pressure but DeFo cleans it up, and vice versa. Then throw in Ford who is trying to get to the QB before Bosa gets there.

Thl, you dont' think that this sets up Solomon in the best possible position? I mean, by rights, DeFo should draw a double, same for Bosa...same for Dee. Who's going to take on Solomon?
Got to wonder if Bosa is good at hunting Midgets as he will play 4 games against those. May be less as Kyle may not survive being hunted down and hit by big fellows.
