Well sure...but to me it depends on the degree of criticism.

If you say he did nothing and outplayed by whoever got a statistical sack... thats pretty ridiculous...

If you say he's not playing up to the status of the highest paid defensive player or his own standards set in 2019,2021, 2022...that's completely fair.

stuff hasnt fallen his way but it isnt like he isnt trying still playing with leverage motor getting a good jump etc
Do you guys not watch the games. He's double teamed, chipped on plays he's not doubled. What do what from this guy. You want him to be Jesus. Watch the games. The other guys should be getting off.

Watt did just fine with it.

Im pretty sure this is what most are expecting. At least I am since hes being the highest paid non-qb player. I also know that It'll take 2-4 games for him to get back into football shape since he missed all of TC. That's when I'll really start to worry of hes still playing like recently.

There was quite a few times the rams decided Drake was the more dangerous pass rusher and doubled and chipped him instead. It was called out in the game thread multiple times.

Bosa is not doing Bosa things right now with any regularity. He had about as much impact as Solly Thomas for several snaps against the rams....that is a fact....

I think the proper take away is Bosa is a really good player, but he is not a dude who can skip the offseason with a new DC and just roll out and be a DPOY candidate.

Gonna take a few weeks to get him going. The good news is when he gets going, he'll be hell on wheels. You can't give attention to Drake and Bosa and Hargrave and Armstead all at once.
The pressure stats aren't out yet for this last game but Bosa did have the highest pressure rate on the defense last week against the steelers. I imagine on a short week and him still trying to get into game shape he will still look a bit sluggish. Week 4 though with 10 days rest, he better look like the Bosa we know and love.

He's fine. They are focused on him and he's still
settling into the season. The issue is others not capitalizing on him getting all the attention.

we have been fine

Stafford was not even dropping back all his passes were within 12 yards it felt like so there were no opportunities for sacks outside a free rush
Chris Jones didn't play in the preseason or the first game, and his defensive line isn't as good. Yet somehow he didn't need multiple games to look good like people on here claim Bosa needs.

exactly and it took us at half time to adjust to that logic. They better get used to teams doing these dinks and dunks.

I mean clearly the Rams game plan was to get rid of the ball as quickly as possible. A ton of underneath stuff and our DBs were playing off all game.

KC's defensive scheme isn't close to the same as SF's.

Bosa is more than fine.
Bosa annihilated his man every time he was left one on one. Stafford simply got the ball out in time.

He otherwise wasn't as noticed for the same reason Donald wasn't. I don't remember them calling Donald's name once.
The Rams aren't the only team getting the ball out fast. We need him to step it up plain and simple. Whole d line should be getting there asses chewed out this week. I expect much better versus the Giants.

No need to panic, and like you said Donald's name wasn't called either, Bosa earned this deal, people saying we overpaid are crazy, or that we shouldn't have paid him, well we wouldn't have him at all this year, we did the right thing.
