While I don't see this dragging into the preseason or regular season, I can see it going till the first workouts in pads, he won't be out there without a new deal, and I don't blame him, this is going to be a record deal for both the NFL(Non QB wise) & the 49ers.

AB, correct me if I'm wrong but they best players tend to wait until the others are done signing so he can make sure that he gets the most, but a lot of the terms can be worked out in the mean time? So it's really a matter of just finalizing it with the new numbers?

Most of the times yes, the better players wait for deals to get done, but the framework is there IMO, $33M-$35M a yr, Donald is at $31.6M a yr, Nick may not care about being the highest paid non QB, but his agents do, so with every deal getting done, it makes a Nick Bosa extension this much closer to being official, it'll happen before Camp IMO, likely 24th or 25th when they report, Nick's probably not even in Cali right now, since they're off till the 25th, rooks report on the 18th.
