Pretty much this, if he was he wouldn't be a FA 4 weeks into the season.
He knows the system and is simply depth, he probably isn't active unless someone gets hurt.

He has been on 4 teams in 6 years (5 teams in 6 years if you count New England). He hasnt had a productive season since 2015. Our 49ers cut him in favor of a bunch of unproven players.

Lol no need to defend yourself. This guy was jobless through the first 4/5 weeks of the nfl. There's plenty of teams out there who need WRs. The fact that no one picked him says it all.

Has been on 4 teams in 5 years. What you leave out is that he was productive from '14 to '16 with a franchise QB. What you leave out is that from '17 to '18 he's been dealing with bad QB play and injuries.
As bad as you make him out to be, it's funny that Jimmy G. and Shanahan wanted him back, hmmm I wonder why? Is it because I don't know maybe they see him more every day than just read tweets and lowlights of him?

He's back because of injuries to Taylor and Hurd, otherwise he'd be 7th on the WR depth chart. I guess not being injured because no one wants to give you a job is now a virtue.
