I have no idea how he will work out but my guess is he'll probably get cut again if they activate Taylor. Not like there are a ton of guys sitting out there that know this offense. I guess we could have signed his cousin. He's only 56 years old.

I know this is tongue in cheek, but we didnt get worse. We went from an injured, rookie WR who never saw the field to a crappy, veteran WR who should never see the field.

49ers don't know what they have in Matthews, but nevermind that Dontae Johnson is re-signed.
People more upset about a receiver who will see less than 10 snaps than a DB who will give up 10 TD's.

He is a veteran who has been on 4 teams in 6 years. We know what we have.

Would rather take a chance on Teez Tabor on the 53 than Johnson I'll say that much.

It will be interesting to see who gets more snaps. Mathews or Bourne?
The impression I got from Jimmy G about Jordan Mathews sounds similar to how Jimmy feels about Trent Taylor. With JG mentioning that JM wanting to know the intricacies of the offense. If he is asking Jimmy, he is learning the offense through the eyes of the QB.
