I hope Matthews makes the cut - we need some veteran presence along with the youngsters.

I would be shocked at this point if he makes it.

I hope your wrong.

He's been on 4 teams in 3 years. There's a reason for that.

Hopefully you're taking into consideration he was on buffalo with arguably the worst passing game in the league

Truth

I've always liked him but 4 teams in 3 years does say something.

We don't know the whole story why he wasn't retained.

we're getting down to the wire - and we'll find out soon.

yeah that offense, when you're running more plays then anyone in the NFL stats get inflated...how's that hard to understand?

When he was in Philly it was a top end offense...you must have not been paying attention. oops.

That same offense got s**tty Jeremy Kerley like 700 yards with Blaine Gabbert throwing him the ball

If Jordan Matthews was as good as you say....we wouldn't be having a debate if he can beat out a UDFA and 7th RD pick. He would be top of the roster and killing it this off season. So far he's barely noticeable and if he does make the team it's at bottom of the roster (probably not even active). Hurd will be the big slot.

But hey I'm sure he got you fantasy pt 4 yrs ago

He is as good as I say and I'm not debating about him making the team, you are.

i saw on the front page there was a article touting his camp. kyle loving him up and the article says he has a great chance to make the team... who knows.. it will be interesting!
If he isn't cut, then I won't be surprised at trips goal line with Hurd and Mathews in.

Exactly, saw it in the preseason game. Deebo, Hurd and Mathews all in at the goal line. It was impressive to see the size advantage.

i have said before,, there is a reason he brought in some wide outs and tight ends with size.. i think kyle saw that the answer to our offense being at its best is not to relay on little breaking ankle guys

Some people like to ignore the glaring needs if it fits their narrative I guess. The day he signed I knew he was making the team.
Honestly dude hasn't earned a roster spot. Dude hasn't stood out in camp or thus so far in the 2 preseason games we played in.

That's because he is being protected like a starter. Hence why you haven't seen much of him in the preseason.
