He's not going anywhere.

Wanna bet on if he's makes the 53 this year? It's a no brainer to bring him back on his non guaranteed deal with no cap hit if we cut him. His deal becomes guaranteed if he makes the 53 after cuts.

Sure...friendly bet. I'm in. I hope you win because we'll have more roll over cap money for 'next' year and we'll have improved the ER position exponentially.

But that's not how we roll.

The team will probably keep 8-9 Defensive Linemen.

Locks(6): Buckner, Thomas, Armstead, Blair, Day, Jones

Inside Track (2): Jullian Taylor, Kentavius Street

Rookie additions (2?): We know this team needs to bring in AT LEAST one more edge player in this draft. I also wouldn't be surprised to see them bring in another NT since D.J. Jones figures to be the only true nose left on the team.

I just don't see how Marsh makes the team. Blair came on at the end of the year to pass him on the LEO depth chart and an early round Edge guy will do the same.

Keeping these dudes has zero impact on our FA or draft. You need depth players.

Fans just make this stuff irrationally personal. Not cutting these dudes in March has no impact.

Let's hope so. As we ended the season with this front 7. We'll need to get two ER's that will clearly supplant Ca$$ius Mar$h. Also, AA started taking NT snaps late last year so we might save a position there.

LDE: Arik Armstead; Jullian Taylor

RDT: DeForest Buckner; Sheldon Day
LEO: Solomon Thomas; Ronald Blair
ER: Cassius Marsh & Pita Taumoepenu
SAM: Mark Nzeocha; Ryan Delaire
MIKE: Fred Warner; James Onwualu
WILL: Elijah Lee; Malcolm Smith
