Wow. Where did this come from?

So the PFF whores (j/k) over at Better Rivals laid out their original off season FA plan. March 6th will be their final version.

They talk in clusters, from a pool of players, but they seemed to have an affinity mostly for these guys (from what I could gather).

They'd love Demarcus Lawrence/Trey Flowers...least fit is Jadeveon Clowney.

FS: Earl Thomas (Injury) then Adrian Amos then Ha-Ha Clinton-Dix
SS: Landon Collins
LEO/ER: Brandon Graham (Age) then Za'Darius Smith
SAM/ER Shaquil Barrett (Role ER)
WILL: C.J. Mosley then Jordan Hicks (Injury History)
OCB: Jason Verrett (ACL/Size) then Bradley Roby (Up/Down Production)
SCB: Bryce Callahan then Justin Coleman

I think they said they love trey flowers but They doubt Saleh would use him right.

I'd be pretty stoked if we pulled from these clusters.

IfHouston, who has more cap space than wwe do, let's Clowney hit FA they might just have a riot on their hands.

They did. They think, and I do too, Flowers by far is the most well rounded ER but they didn't feel Saleh would be creative enough to use him as well as NE. Naturally.

They really will. Houston...we have a problem. And it's not something to clown over!

it sucks, cause he would be dope to have. But I think that just means we need someone who can more purely produce off the edge in nickel situations.

I don't mind if FO passes on Jason lil Ferret and Roby doe.

I don't think ET gonna land here...that's fine tho, his leg might not be 100 anyways, he getting up there in age and price tag's high.

I really don't see OBJ or Brown coming here. That doesn't bother me. I'd rather we go after Tyrell Williams and draft another with size (quite a few good ones will be there for us). We have enough quick short dudes / speed. I'm hoping Jags want to deal with us...Ramsey comes to mind. We can still get Ferrell if we trade down with Shaguars. And like you mentioned, we're gonna need to solidify the oline.

I'm going to assume Goodwin.

Yeah...the good news is he's an excellent run defender as well (Saleh ). He's the version of Solomon Thomas at LEO that Saleh wanted. Despite not having the acumen to utilize Flowers in an optimal way, he'd still be worth the money even in this basic system.

Totally agree. My predictions.

Demarcus Lawrence - Rumors of a labrum issue might set him free but most likely tagged
Trey Flowers - 50/50 he hits the market; too expensive for us ($17M APY)
Jadeveon Clowney - resigns with the Texans
Earl Thomas - Dallas; we are outbid
Adrian Amos - Resigns with the Bears or Broncos
Ha-Ha Clinton-Dix - 50% chance we target/acquire
Landon Collins - 30% chance we target/acquire
Brandon Graham - too expensive; signs with the Colts
Za'Darius Smith - Resigns with the Ravens
Shaquil Barrett - too expensive; signs with Jets
Preston Smith - resigns with the Redskins
C.J. Mosley - resigns with the Ravens
Jordan Hicks - 70% chance he signs here
Jason Verrett - resigns with the Chargers
Bradley Roby - do not target
Bryce Callahan - resigns with the Bears
Justin Coleman - resigns with the Seahawks
Odell Beckham Jr. - stays with the Giants
Antonio Brown - traded to the Colts

I wouldn't say flowers is the most well rounded ER. Just off of the top of my head guys like Lawrence, Graham, Clooney are much more well rounded and better at generating pressure . I'd be leery of throwing big money at a NE guy. Just my personal opinion, but I think he's a bit overrated

Yeah but that's already been put out there. Seems odd to just throw this out there and not really say anything more. Might as well just let it come out when it comes out imo

I think they are defining him as consistent pressure, sacks, ability in run defense, inside, outside, in variant schemes, drop, roles changing week to week, etc. I agree with their assessment. And yours as he's not the best pure ER.
