So my question to you guys is anybody worried that last year's draft will follow in the footsteps of the previous draft??Remember most of the guys like foster and Weatherspoon and Taylor had great rookie years and bright futures ahead. But then the sophomore year was absolutely horrendous for the draft class. Even though our rookies showed promise I'm still kind of worried if they will continue to grow or if they will take a giant step backwards like the 2017 draft. Anyone else with me?
It's a valid concern for any team. I believe Walsh expected his coaches to tell him what a player can contribute each year. Ideally, they contribute more with more experience.
I think the 2018 mostly played well for rookies. I do think they (and the coaches) have a lot of work to do for their next season.
I think Warner will be fine. Mcglinchy has to step up the pass protection. If he doesn't then we'll think he "regressed."
