The like they have at OL and DB relative to who was available when they made picks in the 1st 5 rounds this weekend.

Unless something goes wrong with another position group I full expect next year's #1 pick to be OL or DB.

Yeah next year I know the draft will have a lot of offense compared to this year.

They invested a lot of picks in the secondary last year so they are riding that out.

I actually think they are hoping Garnett can stay healthy as they seem to really like him. I won't hold my breath.

This kid is going to become a household name real soon. I think he'll be considered a top 15 WR by year 3.

He has everything you want a playmaking reciever to have. He's an explosive athlete, great hands, great motor, and most importantly, he's as confident as they come. WR is the one position you want guys who fully believe they are the best at their position in the entire league.

not sure why we need another one when we have many underneath weapons in our pass catching RB in Mckinnon and Coleman. Also you have similar receivers in Pettis and Taylor. The only WR that can take it to the house is Goodwin but he is soft and injury prone.

I prefer AJ Brown or DK Metcalf - strong powerful and fast that will take it to the distance. both are rock solid is terms of muscle build and strength - physical freak.
Deebo seems like he is a bit over weight and is not a physical specimen

Deebo isn't just a shifty underneath guy. Plus, overweight? He's a better athlete and more versatile than Brown. I like AJB and would've been happy with selecting him, but I think Deebo is better.

I would've been very disappointed if Metcalf was selected over him.

I absolutely love this guy, I think he is going to be great and explosive in our offense.

Really like the vision that we have for our offense and things shanahan will be able to do once everyone is healthy!

Adding Deebo now presents DB`s with 2 WRs(Pettis) who have the foot work to shake them out of their shoes, imagine having to guard these guys ,who do you double team add kittle and its a nightmare.This offense has just gotten very scary. Good Luck NFC West

I think you dead on. The Deebo pick really solidifies the type of WR Shanahan values. He had his pick of guys with all kinds of traits. Deebo show us what he values. He wants short area burst with long speed. Deebo, Pettis, and Goodwin all win with their feet during their routes. Teams are going to shade safety help to Kittle all the time, so these WRs need to be able to shake free quickly.
