another plus is that if Piniero misses a FG, we have Deebo here to beat his ass

As a #2/3 WR i really like the signing. Especially because i think this pushes Stribling outside to the flanker role. Deebo should be the big slot role

He is a huge part of our recent history and success and deserves a ring with us
Agree with all of these.

Howdy, Pal! Hope all is well.
Deebo was still 7th in YAC amongst WRs last year and only Khalil Shakir had more YAC per reception of the WRs with more YAC than him.

Feel like Stribling and Deebo are both interchangeable with that slot/flanker role.

we got our vibe back on offense with Deebo. A yr away and he got humble and wants to finish what they started here. No one should be mad about this signing on 7/31 and Ricky possibly out for at least the first 6 weeks

Vibe on offense?
Interchangable with our 1st rd pick?
Motived?

Oozing objectivity.

You should be Deebos manager.
Come on Deebo, we just need maybe 70% of 2021 Deebo, one more year, come oooon you can doooo eeeet!

It doesnt really matter nor do i care whether i get consensus. I am going to call balls and strikes.

This is a strike, forget about who he was or the susposed discount, he is not anything he once was, which was 2023....the last season he did anything worth mentioning. We just got slower and worse at the WR position. The 49ers have used valuable draft capital at the WR position and have seen little return to this point. This only impedes that development, they need reps and if they are not good enough to get on the field then thats another strike. The solution to missed draft picks at WR is Deebo Samuel.....its ridiculous.

I dont need to explain the non sense you spewed in the BA thread.

BS you're one of the least objective "fans" in here….pretending you're some truth talker is laughable.

Who in here is expecting him to be 2023 Deebo? He's making kendrick Bourne cash.

development of who? A bunch of day 3 picks and a rookie WR that will still get plenty of play?

the solution to a WR that has a knee injury is to bring in a cheap vet option that knows the team. If the likes of Watkins or Crowing can't beat out Deebo that's on them…chalk it up to the countless day 3 players that don't turn into anything meaningful across the league.

again finding any way to whine about this team has to be exhausting and at this point it's embarrassing…it's why you're creditability is crap in here. We all know what you're gonna say.

As far as the BA thread goes, go ahead tell me what the problem was? I'm all for signing young good homegrown players at impact positions. I had no clue he was gonna go f**king nuts.
I love Deebo with the ball in his hands.
I hate Deebo with the ball in others hands.

Your lack of any objective discussion shows up again.....such a Homer.

Getting all excited cause we sign Deebo just shows the rosy glasses you choose to wear.

Deebo was a great player in 2021..... He was unsigned for a reason. The NFL doesnt think much of him anymore.

Who's all excited? I like the signing at his price point, down a WR and for what was actually available on 7/31.

I didn't want him on the team with a healthy Ricky and at $15M per or whatever something people thought it would cost.

It's Kendrick Bourne cash…why does that bother you so much? Oh that's right you hate everything this team does and make a point to whine about it whenever possible.

dude safe yourself all the anger and hate and go root for another team already. We all know what you're gonna say over and over.
shanny prolly started texting deebo after the accident thinking it is 2021 telling him to come to camp
The best thing about bringing Deebo back is he knows the offense and Purdy is familiar with him. No learning curve needed. He may not be the same player although I hear he's lost some weight and looks to be in good shape but they needed to get another receiver after Pearsall's knee became an issue. It probably would have cost them more money to bring in a free agent that didn't know the system so I'm okay with this.

Damn, Bills snagged our first choice, so we had to pivot to Deebo.
I think people are missing the point. For that low cost, for one year, needing him more than you guys know, It's a great deal. He knows our offense so well and think about going up against the Rams or Seahawks and their lines? They're going tonget penetration right away, so Deebo will be a great escape option for Purdy along with McCaffrey. I don't know why fans aren't taking that into context. He was still 7th in YAC, but 2nd in the YAC per reception to Shakir on the bills (Deebo always misses some games so this stat is a better indicator imo). He is still great at what he does. He went from a 20 out of 10 and now he is among the best in the league at breaking tackles and getting extra yards. He just set the standard way higher than anyone has before that's the problem. He's still very good at that part of his game and we're going to need that with all the pressure we are going to be giving up against playoff teams, especially like the Rams Seahawks or Eagles.

He is also an absolutely awesome at kick returner, that is very valuable considering we gave up our great returner that we were waiting for over 10 years to get again 😤

Overall very good signing and let's not forget how good he always does against the Rams. Even with that drop for a touchdown, he owns them.
Does anyone think that maybe this could just be the spark that makes BA come crawling back to the Niners begging their forgiveness? Nah
Already knows the offense, has been successful before.

Only a 1 year deal worth $7 million, can be cut at any time if he struggles

This is a win win situation
